It's been really mixed at this point. KDKA, their radio affiliate 93.7 the fan and John Steigerwald have all been insisting that the Steelers are going to hire from the outside. Basically every other media outlet (both local and national) are reporting an inside hire to be likely.

Hmm, I don't like it. Philbin has potential as a head coach. So long as Miami has that terrible front office, he will be unable to fulfill his potential.

Well, this pretty much seals Moore's fate. He'll be the #2 guy. Flynn will probably go there and start. If Flynn does not go to Miami, Moore is probably the starter. I don't see Miami drafting Luck or RG3. If no Flynn, they draft a QB who probably won't beat out Moore, but probably will take over if Moore is like 2-3 or 3-3. I can see fans calling for a rookie to start if Moore ain't like over .500

Moore at QB with BM at WR#1, Bush at RB, improve the O-Line, draft a real #2 WR...keep that D. I can see Miami go like 9-7 or 10-6. But is THAT good enough?

Yeah, it’s bothersome. However, my feeling is McKenzie is wanting to interview members from both the 49ers & Patriots organizations…which ironic enough, are the very teams I picked as SuperBowl contenders. So it may be after the SuperBowl before Oakland make their selection.
　
Also, another pressing issue in Oakland, will be the QB position. Jason Campbell is still there, and was playing well before his shoulder injury. Both Campbell & Palmer have similar numbers, with Campbell having a better TD/Int ratio. Both join the team under similar situation, with Oakland giving up a lot to obtain these players….Palmer, obviously more and more recent.
　
Key thing is try to be patient….this is new territory for Oakland. The organization have not had a GM not name Davis since 1964. There are many things that has to be address, and their first major step/impression has got very encouraging. The culture of the organization is at stake…will it be the same ole, same ole, or welcome to the 21th Century.

I hope they do get someone from teh outside that will come in and get us back to a balanced game and get Heath in teh game more often and get the running game back...hell, if he does that maybe we can get a few more screen passes in there and stop trying to go for the long bomb 50 times a game (obvious exaggeration)

Well, we should hopefully know something in the next few weeks especially after Tomlin gets back from Moblie, Ala. next week.

Ive seen every game started by Moore. He can be a starter. He led a turn around by Miami. The question is can he lead a team to a Superbowl or be a stop gap QB to groom a rookie. I don't know what this pure hatred of Moore is on this board.

Flynn has started two games...two. All hype.
