I see a poll on there...which QB would you want leading your team in the 4th? The choices...

  • Ryan Fitzpatrick
  • Tony Romo
  • Rex Grossman
  • Other

What?

Tebow was popular because he was popular. Luck is actually popular because of his skill.

Let's get real. Tebow was popular because the guy won like no one's business and succeeded at both the team ind individual levels in college with multiple Championships and the Heisman Trophy. That and because the guy actually seems like a genuine and decent human being, which sadly enough is rare these days. His issue was that his strongest skills are well-suited for college level spread offenses but don't typically cut it in the NFL where those are usually negated by the level of speed on the defensive side of the ball.

Luck's college resume thus far doesnt even sniff Tebow's. However his skill set, (big arm, accurate pocket passer, reads defense well) is far better suited for a pro style offense.

I don't recall a ton of teams having interest in Tebow. In fact, I heard more interest in him at positions other than QB ... Tight End, Fullback, etc

Romo with a broken rib and punctured lung

What a gutsy performance...Lay off the guy people. Romo bringing out the inner - favre

Its ridiculous that everyone is now claiming Romo to be this great player because he played with some broken ribs. He was going against the 49ers, they're awful. Let me see him do that against a good team, actually let me see him do that against a good team while he's healthy. Oh yeah thats right he can't.

punctured lung...not just broken ribs.

Oh please he got his punctured lung from the broken ribs because he went back in. We aren't sure how long during the game he had it. Doesn't change the fact he was playing against the 49ers.

Steve Young comes off as such a *****bag

Romo wants to be a golfer, I see him playing 3 or 4 more years TOPS and then he's peacing out

I was talking more about toward the pros. He was popular because was a great college player and ESPN did nothing but try and to hype him for the draft.

The Rams D is doing everything they can to keep us in the game. Not looking good regardless. Having no Steven Jackson is awful.

But it doesn't help that Cadillac drops that ball... :(

wooo....go Giants

granted it's against the Rams but its nice to have a win at the home opener

If the Rams don't commit the stupid penalties defensively, and take back the Cadillac fumble, New York is trying to come back right now.

It's not like the Giants are world beaters. They kinda suck.

This is just another example of why We needed to go after a big receiver. Bradford needs weapons!

I think the Rams should've tried to get Burress. These young'uns can't hold on or come back to the ball at all.

They're beating themselves, or else they're smoking the G-Men.

This is priceless, especially coming from the same intellect that bragged about beating the Tigers earlier this year. How did that work out for the Mets? LOL.

I hate New York sports fans. Except Erz. He's dreamy! :hrt:

There is no way the Broncos take Luck. Colts or Cowboys, maybe.
Broncos would take Luck in a second.

Any team that doesn't have a obvious franchise QB would.

The real interesting situation comes when you have a team that has made a major investment of some sort in a yet-to-be-proven commodity.

The Vikings, for example. Or the Jaguars. Or Arizona.

Bradford still has a lot of work to do in his game.

Bradford strikes me as a Matt Ryan-like QB. He clearly gets the game mentally, he has personal maturity, he has some legit first round talent - but there is an "it" factor missing.

Bradford has plenty of weapons on this team. IMO they need more help in the secondary.

We have no explosive WR and Bradford needs that. This team needs that, hell it would meet alot to this city if we just went out and got one! We are used to explosive receivers like Holt and Bruce. At least that's what I remember about the Rams.

Mike Sims-Walker is an underrated reciever. I bet Bradford and him can become a duo like Stafford/Johnson or Matt Ryan/Roddy White before seasons end. Brandon Gibson is also flying under the radar. Give these WR's some time and they'll be good for Bradford in the long run.
