If I were Thomas Dimitroff, I would ditch Sam Baker ASAP. All he's good for is causing holding penalties.

Thank You Falcons for making it a "new" game.

Analysts are getting so full of crap these days. Blah blahing on about how if Peyton doesn't win another Super Bowl, his career won't be looked at as a successful one. :whatever:

I don't give a hoot about Peyton, personally. Although, I do like him much better than Brady.

Defensive game in Atlanta. I like these Pats this year, a much more Belichikian team.

Seems like you're Arthur blank.

I honestly thought Atlanta would pull this off. If they lost to Tom Brady and a crew of unknowns, I wish them good luck against teams like Green Bay, San Francisco, New Orleans, and the Seahawks.

:o

When does replay equipment not work? Smells like some bulls***.

:o

Game got real ugly at the end but I'll take it.

4-0.

So my local news station showed a portion of the Steelers post game interview. I've never in my life remember seeing Tomlin that mad.

That must mean Dan Marino and Jim Kelly really stunk. I wonder why they gave them busts in Canton? That must have been an oversight.:doh:

QBs often get too much credit and too much blame. I remember Manning missing the SB in the 2004 season because in the AFCCG, the Pats brutalized his targets, knocked him around in the pocket constantly, and had an almost 2-1 possession time against the Colts.

No matter how great a QB is, there are ways to beat his team, even if he plays well. The media always seems to turn a game of 53-man rosters into a duel of gunslingers. :whatever:

Mike Tomlin's Empty Threats Are Hilarious

This article hits the nail on the head. Especially this part:

Mike Tomlin is “all sizzle,” and “no steak.” The threats he espouses are empty, and the discipline is nowhere to be found on this team. The sooner that Pittsburgh’s brass figure this out, the better off they will be when they hire his replacement.

It seems the NFL is looking to expand the playoffs in 2014 to 14 teams. I have mixed feelings about this. I like the format the way it is. Why change it? On the other hand, there have been a few teams over the past few years that have been screwed because someone made the playoffs by winning their division at 8-8(might happen this year in the NFC East).

What does everyone else think?

Playoffs
