New York Jets reportedly work out David Garrard
Garrard has been OK in his career. But at this point, age and injury has done him in. I wouldn't want to see him behind that O-line. He used to be mobile but I'm sure that has diminished.

This is a lateral move if I ever saw one.

It almost seems like they don't want to bring anyone in who can really challenge Sanchez for the job.

To be fair, there's really no one out there. With Alex Smith off the table, who else is there? Garrard, Matt Moore, some unproven draft pick? Slim pickings, to be sure.

^If Raiders draft Geno, they would most likely cut Palmer.

120 million over 6 years. Highest paid QB in NFL history.

I thought him asking for 20 million was alot.

They could rebuild half of Baltimore with 120 million.

That's way too much money... hahahaha... good luck Ravens...

:yay:

I shudder to think what The Panthers will have to do to keep Cam Newton in Carolina. He's had to work with one of NFL's bottom-tier defenses and offensive lines for two years now.

Him, and Kuechly are gonna cost us a bundle when contract time is upon us.

I wonder how much Matt Ryan is going to get paid.

I never want to criticize someone going out their and earning the money they get.

Good for Flacco

Nothing against Flacco, but he has somewhat crippled The Ravens from rebuilding. I don't see them as a playoff contender next year as a result. Joe got too much money.

People are fretting flacco's contract. The real money will be in the signing bonus, majority of his contract is most likely backloaded. The team will most likely ask him to restructure in his 3rd year.

He earned his money, which is more than I can say for most qbs that played last year.

I severely doubt his contract is 'backloaded'. Flacco wanted to be paid like Brees, P. Manning and Brady. Well, he got his wish. He'll likely restructure eventually but don't act as if this won't prevent The Ravens from resigning a high-caliber player like Kruger.

The team has accepted the fact that Paul and Cary are most likely gone,I think they go after McKinney next and possibly Ed.

One can say he earned his 30 million dollar contract he signed in 2008.

Teams are usually paying players for what they done. If Flacco makes it to another Super Bowl and wins, one can say he's earned this contract.

@JasonLaCanfora The Dolphins have franchised DL Randy Starks, as expected

NFL L.A. Stadium Not Likely to Happen

Less than six months after the L.A. city council voted unanimously to support AEG's plan, the concept is essentially dead to the NFL, according to two sources. The problems with the plan are numerous, but the most essential one is the economics.

Well I just hope my Raiders and Skins do well this season. Although for the Raiders I fear it may have to get worse before it gets better.

The Stadium kinda dieing in LA is good news for my Rams.

Speaking of stadiums, Arthur Blank, Nathan Deal and mayor Reed have apparently come to terms on giving the green light to wasting $1 billion on a new stadium in Atlanta.

I like Richard Sherman but why did he even agree to come on the show if he was gonna act like a guarded dog the whole time? Skip couldn't even get a question out before Sherman wailed out some uneducated insults at him.

Even on a show like first take, he made himself look like a fool.
