sigh...heard it from a trusted source that Miley Cyrus will be doing the halftime show at the Superbowl....sigh

Copied from the other thread:

The Superbowl is in NY/NJ. Anyone not named Billy Joel, Bon Jovi or Bruce Springsteen is 100% COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.

Oh brother.: Next thing you'll know we'll have One Direction soon.

And we have our first coach on the hot seat for the 2013 NFL season:

Jerry Jones Strips Jason Garrett of His Play Calling Duties

Ouch. I'm surprised Jones even bothered to assign them to Callahan. I figured he would be walking up and down the sidelines, calling plays himself. I think this is a mistake. Jones basically sent the message that the head coach has no authority over the OC in the locker room. Even if Jones disagrees with Garrett's play calling, it is his duty and he should either let him do it or fire him. At any rate, Jones has more or less signed Garrett's pink slip. Nothing short of playoffs (and probably a deep run) will save his job.

Seriously though, could Jerry Jones be any more of a joke?

Some Cowboy fans credit him with their Super Bowl wins instead of Johnson.

Deacon Jones was way before my time but I was always fascinated to hear people talk about him. He must have been amazing to watch. He by his own admission knew he wouldn't have lasted long in today's NFL with the rules that would have shackled his style of play.

Deacon Jones was loved here in STL. He didn't play here but we acted like he did. Once a Ram always a Ram.

Goodell needs to get over this London obsession. If he wants it so bad, just rebirth NFL Europe.

I honestly don't have a problem with it. It kinda makes sense.

Other than LA where else can the NFL really go to add interest in the US? The market is saturated. Any expansion teams will just cut into other fan bases.

Put a team in LA first please

It only makes sense if: A) the NFL was starting over or B) they move either the Chargers or the Raiders.

Moving the Jags or the Bills does not and you're putting a team in LA just to put a team. LA is Laker town and always would be. Putting some cast off team in LA isn't going to make existing fans of any other sports franchise drop their fandom. It'll take years for a team to get over.

I meant going International kinda makes sense.
