2013/2014 NFL Thread: Time to Scream!

So, it's another potential Toilet Bowl tonight for Turdsday Night Football, because of course it is.

A few weeks ago, a primetime match-up between the Colts and the Titans sounded mildly intriguing, given that Andrew Luck was looking like the stud QB all the analysts projected him to be before he was drafted, and the Titans being one of the surprisingly competitive teams this year.

But then it seems, both teams realized they were playing on Thursday night, so they realized they had to sh** the bed, to ensure that their looming matchup would be as unwatchable as possible. The Colts went and gave up something like 700 yards and 86 points to the friggin' RAMS who are starting Kellen "I Used to Back Up Marc Sanchez" Clemens. And the Titans? Well, not only did they lose their starting QB, but they actually managed to lose the Jaguars. THE JAGUARS!

Although maybe we should give the Titans some credit there. After all, had the Jaguars gone winless, they would have made history as the second team to go 0-16 in a season. And the words "Jaguars" and "history" should never be used in the same sentence.

Anyway, I fully expect a horrible derp-off of unbelievable proportions tonight. Expect both quarterbacks to go 4 for 28 with 4 picks each and no TDs.

Final Score: Colts 3, Titans 2

Not sure I buy that one brain fart of a game against the lowly Rams means that all of a sudden the Colts are the Jeff Tuel-led Bills.

I expect Luck and Co to come out and lay a beating on the Titans tonight, I'm saying a 20+ point win.

Its a great move for both parties...Reed knows Rex and Dennis Thurman and the Jets need to help that secondary.

Moves Landry to strong safety and Reed to deep safety. Should be a interesting these last few games

Except that Reed is pretty much shot at this point in his career. So other than the Jets going out and adding yet another past-his-prime "name guy" to their team, I don't think it helps them at all on the field.

Indy vs Titans.......yep, rather clear off the DVR.

Fitz will throw a couple of picks.

Colts have been injury ravaged. They lost Reggie Wayne for the year.

Yeah I think the Colts are gonna whoop up on the Titans tonight, they don't have the pass rush that My Rams do.

Damn what is up with the Colts they haven't been the same since They beat Denver.

Peyton Manning laid that bad juju on them. He was destined to win in his homecoming game and because he lost, he put a curse on the whole organization. Don't f*** with destiny.

There are 31 stadiums in the NFL, only 7 of them don't have corporate names slapped on em.

The Thursday night game was surprisingly entertaining. I wasn't being serious with my 3-2 prediction, but I didn't expect it to be that good. Also, I picked up Delaney Walker on my fantasy team this week since my regular TE was on a bye, and that really paid off. Now I'm trying to figure out if I should keep him and just drop Witten, because he's been sh**ty for at least half the season so far.

At least it wouldn't be corporate sponsored.......unless it's called Federal Reserve Field(F.R. Field for short).

The last time these two played a relevant game against each other:

:palps: you forget when Moore started for Carolina against New England when Jake arm turned to poo-poo.

This game. will be. epic. Like van damme doing the splits on two trucks epic.

But how can it be epic with no Matt Moore?

How can it be epic without Matt Moore? It's a oxymoron I tells ya!

It's gonna be awesome. Can't wait!

Me too! To be honest, both teams could overlooking each since this is a non-conference game. That, and The Pats have The Broncos and The Panthers have The Saints the following week. This game could get sloppy too considering rain is in the forecast. Yet, this match up has all the makings for a classic, messy backyard brawl, and I'm ecstatic about that.

The Steelers are wearing their Bumblebee costumes today. I guess the plan was to make the Lions laugh themselves into distraction.
