2015 NFL Thread: More of Matt Moore!

I don't know or care about what players do on social media. Kap has made some key plays in tough situations, and that's enough for me.

With his legs, yes. With his arm, no.

For Kaep to care what people think of him is indeed a sign of weak mental fortitude. He can't carry your squad, especially now that you guys have lost 90% of your defense. I imagine another losing season in front of the media will cause Colin to go the way of Vince Young. He doesn't handle criticism well at all.

12/16/12- The Niners were up by 28, and the Pats rallied to tie it late in the 4th. After a big KR and a Kap pass, the Niners were in the end zone and won in Foxboro. Kap had 4TDs that day.

The difference between then and now is support. The QB doesn't do it alone.

To be fair to Kaepernick last season, when he connected to his WRs a good amount of times, they really dropped too many balls. Way too many.

That's quite fair, but he still hasn't taken that extra step like RG3. Both can't handle the pocket and playbook yet. While his receivers dropped a lot of passes, Colin also missed a lot of open receivers by not going through his progressions. He locks onto his first read far too long. His accuracy wasn't up to par last season either.

Now that his defense is depleted, he's gonna have to grow up fast. Kaepernick has to carry that team through three vicious defenses in that division. The Seahawks already own him. The Rams and Cardinals are only going to get tougher.

Yeah, but unlike RG3, I think Kaepernick at least has a CHANCE of taking that extra step.

And even if he doesn't, he can still run and doesn't look like he's going into a coma every time he gets hit.

He's 27 (28 by the season's end). This season has got the season he shows improvement or York is probably gonna ship him off too.

But yeah, at least he's not RG3. I don't see him lasting another two years in the NFL.

The only time kap impressed me was in that playoff game against the packers where he ran for a 1000 yards.

Greg Hardy will either be a Seahawk or a Cowboy. If he ends up in Dallas, expect the media to 'like' Hardy again, no suspension and an apology letter from Goodell.

For just wasting everyones time. He didn't even get injured last year for ****s sake and now he's concerned?

Past injuries.

Believe it or not, the Seau case has made a ton of young players hesitant. Expect this to be a more common practice.

You're right. His top criticism is that he has a hard time after his first read. Hopefully Kurt Warner helped him out with that.

Hopefully Warner did because San Francisco's season will be riding on his shoulders. He'll be tested. Prior to this off-season, the team has never technically been his. He's had Bowman, Crabtree, Aldon, V. Davis, Willis, J. Smith, Lupati, etc watch his back. Now, his supporting cast has shrunk significantly.

The first SNF game with San Fran is going to be the true test.

Go to hell Chris Borland.

He's an extreme example, but we're going to see more and more short NFL careers with all the information that has emerged about brain trauma and football. At least he let the team know early and didn't pull a no-show for training camp or something similar.

As to whether youll watch them at all this season? Haha

Well, to see if Kaepernick emerges as a leader but yeah, basically. Odds are, San Francisco will be matched up with other good teams in 4:25 PM or 8:30 PM time slots. Nobody wants to watch a crappy team get blown out unless it's your team causing the damage.

Dude I feel that but take it from a Rams fan, football is football and after a while you just watch for fantasy. Haha

That's true, though. I can't even knock you for that...especially as the second half of the season begins.

Second half? I said I was a Rams fan, we are usually cooked 6-7 games in. Though this season we have a sliver of hope.

Nick Foles will be the hero St. Louis deserves.

As a Jet fan I'm glad we overhauled our secondary even though we still don't have a top quarterback.

I hope the Chargers draft Todd Gurley. They need a 3 down back.
