The Vegas stadium deal for the Raiders is falling apart. Everyone who was suppose to put up money are pulling out. I wonder what this will mean for the Raiders moving. If they don't, they just lost a lot of leverage with Oakland.

They'll move to San Diego. :ninja:

They can just move to Anaheim and call themselves the Los Angeles Raiders of Anaheim.

I say go to San Antonio. Sadly, king Jerry and baron McNair would blocks such a move with their dying breaths. Anyway, any pro football fans there likely already follow a team.

I was kidding about the San Diego Raiders thing, but damn if it's not trending on Twitter. JFC. I'd pass out before I stopped laughing.

Raiders Relocation: San Diego Officials Reach Out To NFL Regarding Possible Move

:viw:

So how many Peyton Manning commercials will we see during the Super Bowl?

There's gonna be an ad of me, J Matt and Incredible Hulk performing a number from A Chorus Line.

That was supposed to be a secret. :rky:

So I keep hearing a lot of media personalities suggest that the Steelers ought to lock Bell up long term. I could not disagree more. He is definitely a great player. But now there are reports coming in that he needs groin surgery. So you have an injury prone player who has had multiple suspensions for off field issues and is a running back, which is arguably the shortest shelf life of any NFL position. Tag him this season, let's see if he can go a full year without injury or suspension. Then MAYBE consider a two year contract. Anything more, for a running back in the modern NFL, is foolish

They should stay in Oakland imo.

Did you know that one of the original AFL teams was the Los Angeles Chargers?

The Raiders would be a much better fit in LA (Don't listen to Darth. He doesn't know what he's talking about and just wants to be able to drop in on a game without paying half a year's wages to see the Forty Whiners). I had Raiders season tickets for 10 or so years when I lived in Santa Cruz. The Raiders would be the only team that might be more popular than the Rams in LA. That being said, San Diego is not far from being a real threat to win their division (which is an exceedingly tough division). A LOT of their games last year could have gone either way and with a good draft, they could end up improving a lot (unlike the Rams).

EDIT: Watch out for the Titans in the next few years. They have a very competitive team and are going to get way better very, very fast.

It's just so weird how things happen sometimes. I got sent this...it's the players Cleveland drafted with the picks acquired from the Falcons, when they moved up to get Julio.

Phil Taylor...hasn't played a down since 2014
Greg Little...been released by three teams since 2014
Owen Marecic...retired in 2013, went into medical school at Stanford
Brandon Weeden...currently third backup QB for the Texans
Trent Richardson...signed by the Ravens in spring of 2016, released in the summer

Yeah...the Falcons really ate it on that one. Check out the Kareem Lakers-Milwaukee trade when the Lakers got that skinny center who couldn't take me in a one on one.

The falcons really ate it? **** I'd make the same deal 10/10 times for julio... it worked out great for us.

Did you miss the Kareem part that makes it clear it is a joke?
