I meant like stock up on things&hide and stuff,The world"ending"could be the world becoming an apocalyptic wasteland and not literally the end of ALL things
Yeah. Apocalyptic wasteland. That's much less crazy!
You are so jonesin' for the end of the world. I think you'll actually be disappointed if it doesn't end. If you really want to stockpile on batteries and canned food in anticipation of the end be my guest though. But you're going to feel pretty silly on 12/22 when you look back on these posts and the sky isn't on fire outside.
I think it might be in anyone's best interest to get drunk for this and here's why:
A. If some end-of-days scenario does begin then it's going to be so all encompassing, so evil, and seem almost insurmountable that you'd be doing your instincts a favor by getting drunk first.
B. If nothing does happen then a lot of people have been wrong about a lot of things and things are going to be upside down anyways so getting drunk is your best way to keep an eye on the whole damn thing.
In short, in this situation - getting drunk may be the best move in keeping an eye on the ole ball.
It's not a matter annebriating one's self, it's a matter of how upside down do you want to become while remaining completely grounded in yourself.
LOL, I figured theirishavenger would surely agree with you.
I have two questions:
1. Is anyone else even thinking about the time difference? (I think when it turns midnight 21st Dec in the Mexico/Guatemala area (where the Mayan civilisation once was) it will be 6AM here!)
2. Is the world supposed to end when it hits midnight 21st Dec, or when 21st Dec is over?

It'll probably be the 22nd, since there are 22 chapters in the book of Revelations, but who'll be caring whether it was the 21st or 22nd by that point? 1, 2, 2, 1, it's over - who cares about numbers at that point?
I think it's going to be quick and sudden for all, ya' know, like the 'quickening.'
