So it's December 2012....only days upon the 21st where the world may end if you believe what the Mayans believed, so I was thinking...why not see which CBM is the most beloved before we all die? :oldrazz:

You only get one vote, so choose wisely and there is a criteria to my list such as:

  • It didn't receive a "rotten" rating on RT
  • It had to be live action(sorry Mask of the Phantasm)

Everyone should've been allowed to vote for their top 3 on the poll to get more variety in the results IMO.

I said favorite, though. I think, rather difficult in only picking one film, picking one would also show us someone's definitive favorite CBM of all time.

To quote why The Amazing Spider-Man is my favourite CBM from the thread in the Spidey boards:
[...]TASM is my favourite CBM of all time because of how it made me feel on first watch. Yes, I can admire Spider-Man 2 for what a well constructed film it is, but at the end of the day I did not, and never did, connect with Tobey's portrayal of Peter Parker, much less so Kirsten Dunst. Perhaps as well now it helps that I'm a similar age to TASM's Spider-Man so can empathise better, as well. But TASM is the first comic-book movie - Heck, probably first movie - I've seen that at the end left me genuinely emotional, because of how much I enjoyed and how invested I was in this interpretation of my favourite character, or to put it more accurately, my hero.

Did all of the news which came out after about the deleted scenes and behind the scenes shenanigans make me annoyed? Yes, of course. But that only affected my second watch and took nothing away from that first experience of the film. Rewatches since have not felt any lessened either. So to me, The Amazing Spider-Man is my favourite Comic Book Movie because of my investment in it, how well pulled off the characters were (IMO, of course), how it made me feel when I first saw it and because, on that first watch, it was a flawless film. Yes, it has flaws, many, in fact, but on first watch that film connected with me so much I saw none of them, and that's what's important.

Just my two cents! :spidey:

And my Top 20 (Expanded and modified from my previous top 10... It changed regularly :oldrazz: )

:awesome: but seriously I can't decide of a favorite other than B:MOTP. There's too many I like or love.

I know, I was already told that I'm harsh for not having multiple votes, but I find it to be fun that we can only vote for one movie, lol.

Definitely The Dark Knight. This one is easy. It is a step above every other comic book film ever made.

The Dark Knight Rises.

Definitely followed by The Avengers with a close second.

After that, I just can't decide. :woot:

Rule No. 2: Don't Talk About Fight Club.

... Also, I voted for The Dark Knight.

Unsurprisingly I voted for The Avengers.

You need to re-evaluate your ranking system.. When you write "x/10", that usually means from 1 to 10, not from 9 to 10. :whatever:

I voted for Watchmen. But this poll is getting so predictable now!
