24: Live Another Day - Part 2

I honestly thought that Jack had a bomb on himself and was gonna blow the helicopter up with himself and everyone in it. Seeing Jack's reaction after [BLACKOUT]Audrey's death[/BLACKOUT] made me think that.

Just do a two hour movie. Focusing on Kate & the CIA with Chloes help rescuing Jack. Fake Jacks death & get the Russians off of his back. He gets the happy ending with Kim & we can all be friends

There's no way it ends there. They're going to announce another season at Comic Con. I guarantee it. Next season: Jack Bauer's Rescue.

There's got to be another season right? If not, then I think that silent clock at the end has a horrible implication :(

I wish there was a happy ending

bizarrely enough, I was thinking the same thing...

Yeah, I was speculating on that when the panel was first announced, but that was mostly just wishful thinking. However, it seems more likely than ever now, imo.

Just an interesting note, my DVR listed this as a series finale, not a season finale. They did the same with S8. Probably means nothing, figured I'd throw that little tidbit out there.

Well, Live Another Day was always officially a "limited event series," so that doesn't mean much. The next one would probably be a brand new limited event series that gets its own series finale.

I know. I just want to create some hysteria. :hehe:

:whatever: Do you people seriously think it is all over??

Uh oh! We're getting a sassy "whatever" face from J-Law lover SJH! Better watch out, guys! :o

To answer your question, I'd say it's 70-30 it's coming back. Not a sure thing, probably down to contracts, availability, demand, etc.

I really hope this isn't the end. That would be as depressing of a series finale I've ever seen before

The thing is, though, the writers had to have written this season not knowing if the show would be picked up. So, in a way, this was designed to be the end of the show.

Jack stuck in Russia for 12 hours

Man that's like watching out for land mines every step. There's probably going be double agents and turncoats at every corner.

It's not that simple. Scripts evolve during shooting and developments, etc. This was a very small scene that could have been tacked on when the season was mostly done, so that'd back up the theory that it's coming back.

wow....I just don't know if I have the words to describe it. That was a great episode. I love the showdown between Jack and Chang. Great stuff. And now that I think about it I hope the silent clock doesn't mean something bad for Jack, but the original series had the clock tick down to zero ending the series...I hope they go to Russia and rescue Jack

It's mostly down to ratings AND Blu-ray/dvd sales... hopefully these aren't disappointing to the picky Fox!

Aw Audrey. I knew it was too good to be true when both her and Kate seem to be safe and sound and it's still pretty early on. I got super emotional at the entire episode with the highlights being when Jack found out that Audrey died, Heller telling the PM that he will forget Audrey and her death, and of course the exchange. There HAS to be another season. Somehow though I get the feeling that this is really the end. :waa:

Jack with the katana! :awesome:

And oh... where do I sign up for the Belcheck fan club? I love the guy! I didn't even know he will be in this episode. t was so relieved that both he and Chloe made it out alive.
