I just found out that this season will only be 12 episodes.

It will be 12 Episodes but It will still be a Event that happens in 24 Hours. Doing this might elimate a lot of filler but it will make something like 2 hour time jumps through the season.

So today to get myself ready I watched the last 4 episodes of season 8 just to refresh my memory of what happened last ( I hadn't watched it since it aired 4 years ago) and get ready for the new series. Man, I'm telling you, eventhough season 8 is by far one of the weakest seasons of 24 it sure as HECK went out with a bang. The last 4 episodes of S8 were absolutely excellent television and in my mind redeemed a lackluster, formulaic season. What a tour de force. That standoff confrontation between Jack and Chloe in the last episode where he is forcing her to shoot him, OH MAN, it does not get any better than that. It reminded me what an incredible piece of television this show was and I cant wait to see what happens next.
