Great series premiere!

It's funny, I've been watching Chuck on Netflix. So it was a bit of a surprise to see Yvonne Strahivski on there.

that was good stuff, so glad Jack is back to get **** done

It really does feel like 24 never left, hard to believe its been off the air for four years. Great start to a very promising season. I like how FOX did the "This season on 24" thing. It kind of subtly implies that FOX is fully intending to give us more after this season ends! :)

P.S. I was just watching the cast interviews on the 10pm News on FOX and Mary Lynn Rajskub remarked that Chloe has suffered "personal tragedy" which explains her new look. I hope she's not referring to Morris and her son. :(

God, I missed this show.

So delicious and badass... Jack was like Batman in the opening scene.

Nothing like hearing 'beep, boop' once again.

Very good premiere.

I find Jack's development to be particularly interesting. On the surface, he had virtually no character development, which I initially found off-putting...then I realized during his conversation with Chloe, as they tracked the hacker, there is nothing to develop. He is dead inside. He is a man who has lost everything. He is trying to prevent Heller's assassination out of some misguided belief that fulfilling his lifetime duty can give him purpose...but even that purpose would be hollow. He is just broken. It will be interesting to watch him come back to life and his redemption as the season progresses. The first time we see a spark from him is when the hacker is running and he is begging the CIA to follow him. Being back in the field will inevitably bring Jack back to life...but it is a journey that should be fun to watch.

About tonight's episode...

I'm interested in President Heller's story as the season progresses. The fact he has the early stages of Alzheimer's is interesting.

It's crazy to think, he's saving the President... and a President who treated him badly and tried to ostracize him because his daughter happened to really love Jack.

This man has given everything and lost just about everything over the last 15-18 years while in duty, yet they treat him like ****.

Go Bauer Go!

Really like the new cast; chick from Chuck is badass without any ham. Bratt might end up in the top CTU/CIA Managers or whatever, surprising since he's usually bad. I love seeing 'Joshua/Coop's Dad' even though he's dating Audrey. Also, like the aspect that Heller has Alzheimer's. And, poor Chloe...

I'd imagine he is only trying to save him hoping that he gets a pardon somehow

I don't think Jack's interested in a pardon, but I could be wrong. He said in tonight's episode that he was only interested in [BLACKOUT]helping the Heller family for what he caused them years ago. [/BLACKOUT]

OMG GREAT PREMIERE JACK IS BACK boy so much has changed, and yet it still remains the same with a badass Jack

what happen to Chloe?

Yvonne Strahivski is a great addition to this cast she's like a female Jack agent . I loved her on Chuck as Sarah Walker.

How is no one talking about Jack having implants that worked as EMPs, tracker, and god knows what else...?

I liked his Russian friend, too.

Still fairly new to "24" watched the finale season and was hooked

Are the tattoos all new on Bauer and Chloe?

Also William Devane should be made an honorary president. He's been president like 4 times

He played JFK

He played the president in Stargate SG-1

He played the president in "The Dark Knight Rises"

He plays a president with Alzheimer

Chloe's have got to be new...

Jack might have a new one on his right forearm, I know we've seen his tattoos before but don't know how anal they got with carrying over from before, that tribal tat I think has always been there, since it is Kiefer's..

Wasn't there suppose to be one on his left collarbone from Day 8?

Every episode has gotta nearly end with a Jack "Damn It"

You ever play the 24 drinking game? You do a shot everytime Jack says "Dammit". In one hour you'll be homeless, friendless, penniless and ******ing a homeless man for crack. :o

Goddamn. I *****ing love this show. Watching it still feels a bit surreal. I can't believe the show is actually back.

Yvonne's Kate is a great addition. She's not only badass but actually smart. And of course it was great to see the Jack/Chloe tandem back in action. Chloe can say whatever she wants to but she can't resist helping Jack. :funny: I like the Sebian friend too which probably means that he's dying soon.

Totally called it on that "European girl". I'm liking this mother/daughter combo.

His SG-1 president was the best. Especially when he stood up to Anubis

Yeah, girlfriends of villains in 24 are either undercover for the good guys or undercover for other villains

Great episode and really liked how they are slowly bringing out details of what's happened since we've last seen each of the returnees.

Jack's kill list:

This season premiere was brilliant. It felt new, fresh but still felt like 24. When the CIA outpost got blown up I was like, 'already!?' This show didn't waste any time in getting down to business. Jack does indeed feel like a cross between batman and Bourne and Kaitlin Stark!!

Im almost afraid to find out what happened to Chloe's family :(
