i'm really looking forward to seeing how Heller is going to react when he learns of Jack Bauer presence in London.

His reaction:

"Are you FDR? Are you doing a whistle-stop tour? Your hair is more yellow in person."

is there a VP cast for the show, or have they mentioned him/her doing something else during these hours?

If Heller gets taken out and replaced by a Veep, how many Presidents would that be over the course of the show's run? Like 12? :o

10 presidents, in roughly 22 years of the show's timeline.

Not that bad actually, for how many were killed/attempted to be killed/impeached/etc.

Not to get all pedantic and stuff, but the timeline and Jack's supposed current age is another thing that bothers me. If Jack is supposed to be in his late 40's now, and season 1 happened almost 20 years ago… and at the time Kim was already like 17…. then how old was Jack when he had Kim? Like 10?

I think Bauer was Sutherland's age at the beginning of the series (35). Kim was actually only 15 in season 1. That means Jack had her at age 20. Its not that far off from reality. Sutherland had his first (and only) child at age 22.

Yeah. I guess you gotta fudge the details a bit. I don't know… the 24 wiki says Bauer is 48 now, but that 18 years had passed since season 1. I don't take those small continuity nitpicks too seriously, but just thought it was interesting. :o

Is anyone else rewatching old seasons?

Hahahahaha Jack never ceases to amaze me. His means to create a diversion to get in and see Heller was pretty mean. Brings a whole new meaning to collateral damage.

Yeah, shooting those protesters in the legs was pretty cold. :wow:

I get the whole Edward Snowden vibe from Chloe and her crew.

Assuming each President/Vice President served only one term than at least 17 years.

Pre-Palmer presidency- A few months to a year
Palmer- 4 years
Keeler/Logan/Gardner- 4 years
Palmer/Daniels- 4 years
Taylor/Taylor's VP- 4 years

Didn't they also mention in the last episode Heller had been in office for a few years? I know Taylor had a VP in season 7 but to my knowledge they were never mentioned in season 8. Is it possible Heller was VP? That could shave a few years off the timeline. Not sure it was ever explicitly stated how many years in Taylor resigned.

Glad they acknowledged that the CIA shouldn't be running around London with Sub Machine guns having fire fights on council estates...

Although one scene I really hated was the scene where Heller was addressing Parliament....

Didn't the show end like a minute into Heller addressing Parliament? Can't say I really hate the scene without knowing how it ultimately plays out.

wow, momma is one crazy *****!!

Mother of the year right there

I hope those drones go off so that Heller feels like ****

It looks like evil mom in some ways is gonna end up helping Jack by showing that he was right

That was crazy **** doing that to your own daughter

I guess you could say that Simone Al-Harazi gave 'em the finger... :wow: :woot:

One thing about 24 never changes....presidents never take Jack's word when something bad is going to happen. You would think his track record for always being right would count for something. I wish president Taylor from the last seasons would make an appearance. Would like her to help clear Jack's name.
