I'd imagine that Jack will offer his help for a pardon at least & be able to go home

It's kinda ironic what this mother did, vs her role on Game of Thrones. LOL

One thing about 24 never changes....presidents never take Jack's word when something bad is going to happen. You would think his track record for always being right would count for something. I wish president Taylor from the last seasons would make an appearance. Would like her to help clear Jack's name.

Presidents in this show only take action and believe Bauer when things finally do happen.

Holy amazing episode. Love how Jack has got the confidence of the CIA at least, and well Audrey. That phone call with Heller was one for the decade...

They really seem to be Mentioning Kate's Husband a lot on this show. Wonder if we will ever find out who her husband was.

I'm really not trusting [BLACKOUT]Navarro.[/BLACKOUT]. Something's not right.

I wish there was more heated discussion in Parliament.

Catelyn Stark little-fingered Sansa lol.

Season 4 music too! :awesome:

I totally saw what Margot will do coming. Well, mostly. I figured they will use Simone as leverage and probably beat her up but I didn't anticipate them going that far. :funny:

Yet again... The important people didn't believe Jack. These fools never learn. *shakes head*

:lmao: when Chloe told her boss to get out of her sight. Never change Chloe!

The trigger happy soldiers were annoying.

Michellle Fairley also played Hermione's mother in the Harry Potter films and Simon's mother in Misfits.

They showed a picture of him in the first episode.

I'm going to guess there is a twist that her husband was framed by Navarro who was the one who really sold secrets to the Chinese. They said her husband Adam kept protesting his innocence.

Damn. I like that guess a lot.

Margo is using the drones to target all the Lannisters in England

Margot: The Al-Harazis send their regards.

In the previous scene with Margot and Simone, did you notice Margot looking at her finger? That was cool foreshadowing. :awesome:

Jack said that Heller's State Department designated him a terrorist. This implies that Heller was Taylor's immediate successor.

That may answer the question of who succeeded Taylor. In Day 7, Taylor's VP was Mitchell Haysworth. He is not mentioned in Day 8. Haysworth may have resigned following the events of General Juma's attack on the White House resulting in the appointment of Heller as VP by Taylor and leading to him ultimately succeeding her.

This makes more sense to me than Heller running after Haysworth served out the rest of Taylor's term. There would've been about a year left on the term. Following Taylor basically resigning for treason, it seems very unlikely that another Republican (Heller and Taylor are both Republicans) would be elected. However, if Heller served out Taylor's term and did a stellar job at recapturing the American people's confidence in the White House, he could be re-elected.

Plus, as a Hawkish former Secretary of Defense with strong national security and foreign relations credentials, he would be a logical choice for Taylor to appoint to the Vice-Presidency following our country's first foreign attack on the White House since 1814.

As such, it makes sense that Heller was the direct successor to Taylor.

Well they made big deal that Heller in campagin was 5 points behind and with his truthfulness was able to turn campagin around. It was mentioned that was smillar situation as him going before parliament.

He would've had to run for re-election if he was Taylor's VP so that doesn't really preclude the possibility.

It's good to see that despite her terrorist ways and general betrayal that Margot remains very English in that when her daughter had a problem her immediate reaction was to stick on a brew!.........This was negated slightly by her getting her goon to chop her finger off later, but still....

Loved seeing Jack in a reverse Die Hard scenario in the embassy and I was glad to see he's pissed off about being branded a terrorist and that he felt Heller should have let him tell his side, their phone convo was a classic scene.

I think it's starting to fully dawn on Chloe that Cross is not what he claims, and it's also dawning on him that there is no way he'll ever break her loyalty to Jack.

Kate, Navarro, Tate Donovan???? You can never trust anyone on this show outside of Jack and Chloe, but no one is talking about Erik, he's acutely aware of everything going on and could be a sleeper. I agree with the theory that Navarro framed Kate's hubby, the fact it involves the Chinese could be interesting given Jack's history with them.

I love how weary Jack is, it feels authentic given all he's been through.

I guess you could say that Simone Al-Harazi gave 'em the finger... :wow: :woot:

That scene was classic 24; i think it would have played out better if, after the Husband was taken from the room, the daughter would have stopped crying to indicated that she was well aware of what her mother was going to do and was part of it, ala the tv show Crisis (those that watch it know what i'm referring to).

That would have coveyed how radical and twisted the daughter was also.

I dont trust anyone! I'm so paranoid when i watch this show it's not even funny lol. I kinda trust Kate, but Navarro, Cross, Mark... i dont trust any of them :cmad:

Can't get more American than celebrating Memorial Day with Jack killing terrorists...

I'd like to see Jack find some rest time at the end of the current Day! It would be nice to see him hook up with Agent Morgan - but it would be pretty improbable to find romance in the period of twenty-four hours.

I wonder if Kate Morgan could have a spin-off series?

They could also make this a Chuck sequel. Sarah never got her memory back after Chucks ending. So she joins the CIA again & she leaves Chuck & she requests another new identity & they give her Kate Morgan
