Never saw Chuck, is it worth a watch?

I see there are several series available on DVD here in Australia. Is it worth watching from the beginning or are the later series more developed?

Chuck should definitely be viewed from the beginning.

I'm currently watching Chuck on Netflix. Fantastic show. I have like 10 episodes left. It's funny and dramatic. It definitely worth a watch.

I enjoyed Chuck until they started doing the ''ok whose turn is it to have the intersect''

I feel like I'm watching season 6 again. These scenes are bringing me right back to that finale.

That does not look like a fun day for Kate next week

Well, I guess everyone's theory that we wouldn't be getting any filler episodes was just thrown out the window. :hehe:

I really wish we were getting the full 24 episodes still. :(

That was awesome.

I want to see more of Jack's Serbian friend.

It's weird, when I think about this entire show, especially all the way back to season 1 and the methods and lengths Jack employs to get to the bottom of all the bs he's faced, it makes you really wonder what his life was like before the events of season1. Sure, we know of his experiences and his affiliations and the such like but looking back at season 1, he was nowhere near as embittered, cynical and hardened. Sure, he still had his family around but it's as if, since the events of season 1, there was like an orgy of villainous tournaments going on and everything prior was piece of cake.

Thats the life of a TV character once they're created and the series start.

Pretty quiet and then the series starts and they're thrown into all kinds of situations.

It's very thought provoking.

I remember the movie "The Last Action Hero" bringing this idea up

Slater- My life was fine a few years ago. Then I got caught up in these silly adventures.

Imagine if the Jack Bauer character came out of the TV screen.

"I don't find it exciting that my WIFE had to die"

Also, in Season 1, Jack was really scared. He'd never had faced something like this before. He was the softest in that season too. I loved that season.

That meeting of Audrey and Jack was worth the 8 years.

The actor that plays Navid had a his girlfriend almost get eaten by her zombie ex-boyfriend on In The Flesh and was pinned to the wall by a car on In The Line Of Duty. Safe to say his characters don't have much luck.

I wouldn't call this episode filler. One major character died. Two others may have died. Beyond that, it was character-driven. Jack reuniting with Audrey and Heller are major moments for the character as was Chloe teaming with Kate and leaving the hackers. All hugely defining moments, maybe not to the story but definitely to the characters.

here I thought the mom was nuts but looks like the daughter just as crazy

I have seen every season of 24. 2 things always happen

1.there is always a "bigger bad" coming . either the villian has a boss we didn't know about or the villian was being 'manipulated' by someone else.

2.there is always another traitor in CTI/cia etc. someone jack trusts or is working for them they 'think' will be bad.

it will be one of these

1.Navarro
2.Ritter
3. Mark Boudreu
4. Jordan Reed(cia computer tech)..

my money's on Reed.

In Season 4, it was Marwan only, all the way.

I remember in season 1 he almost fell asleep. He's never did that again lol

Considering they're going to be skipping several chunks of time in this season, I think they'll likely be during the early morning hours after midnight.

Is it known yet how they're going to be splitting the day up?

I've skipped two seasons before this (stopped at Season 6), can anyone provide me with a quick recap of the previous two seasons and fill me up with the important details and story arcs that I need to know before watching this new season?
