Hell, Michael Bay's movies aren't even too bad. Armageddon is enjoyable, Bad Boys 1 and 2 are pretty solid actions movies... and the Rock? Yeah...
Armageddon is one of the dumbest movies I ever saw, as far as memory serves
It is stupid

So, i saw the deleted scenes i thought:

overall, i think the Harry deleted scenes could´ve helped to make his character better, Max´s mother scene remembered me why i think Max had some mental issues and i think he was crazy, you can see Gwen writting the letter to Peter, the plane sequence had Richard seeing his dead wife with a bleeding nose...foreshawoing :o and finally, i´m glad they didn´t go with that ending

I don't even trust Rotten Tomatoes. Sharknado 2 is at 82 percent last time I checked. I haven't seen it yet but it does not deserve that

Aerosmith had several songs on the soundtrack for Armageddon so that moves the film up 3 points in my book. That brings the total score to 3.

Oh and Miles, your TSSM quote in your sig is all kinds of awesome. I approve :D

Meh i try not judge movies based on soundtracks.if that was the case Adam Sandler would have some successful movies in my opinion lol

I finally finished watching all of Spectacular and now I'm sad...

Rewatched ASM2 5th time. Had quite a different experience with it, this time around.

Let's just say I can most definitely see where the negatives comments are coming from.

Have you changed your rating? :wow:

Hm, it's interesting, really.

I was feeling a little uncomfortable and a little down (there was thunder, I was feeling a little anxious), and my friends didn't seem to be enjoying the movie very much. Turns out the movie is a little awkward to watch with GA people (they aren't very big CBM fans).

I tell ya, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is NOT the movie to watch while feeling not-so-happy. It felt awkward as hell and really was pretty annoying to watch. Left a bad taste in my mouth, honestly.

I think I'll be calculating my current score like this.

1st viewing: 6.9/10

2nd viewing: 8.0/10

3rd viewing: 8.3/10

4th viewing: 8.6/10

5th watch (this one): 6.0/10.

The average of that would be ~7,6/10. However, I'm confident that I'll be able to enjoy the movie more the next time I watch it. My experience this time around is quite obviously in the minority. :yay:

Aah, this makes sense. :)

Yeah, it is one of those movies where, depending on when you watch it, it's either the worst thing ever or a really good film. :funny:

Man, it sure as hell is. I was feeling slightly the depressed at the premiere for some reason, as well. Both that time and this time, it was raining, actually. Maybe one shouldn't watch ASM2 when it's raining. :wow:

Pretty sure my lady friend (not girlfriend) didn't appreciate the movie that much. "Well that was weird as hell", was literally the first thing she said as the credits started rolling, hah.

Maybe not. :oldrazz: Watch it when you're happy!! :woot:

Wat?

:lmao: I know the movie can be a convoluted mess at times, but weird? Um...

Hah, yeah, that's what she said. Oh well, I'll be rewatching it within a week, I have a feeling I'll be able to enjoy it again.

Edit: The movie is pretty much stupid as hell, but just so damn enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing.

Edit 2: As of right now, I can say that ASM1 is leauges ahead of ASM2 as a film, however.

TASM felt more like a film when you figure out the tone, the sci fi feel, the realism, the characters, the emotions, and even the score. if we just had a director's cut not only will it be one of the best CBMs ever made but one of the best films ever made

That's... A pretty bold statement.

But yes, ASM1 really is pretty damn good. Definitely one of the 2010s better CBMs.

Spider-Man 2
ASM
ASM2
Spider-Man
Spider-Man 3, for me.

SM1 sure aged pretty badly.

Spider-Man 2
Amazing Spider-Man
Spider-Man
The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Spider-Man 3

(ASM2 might jump up one when I see it again)

-Yeah, he's made a few good movies. Personally, I've always really liked The Island.

-And I'd say Transformers 4 is easily the best out of the series. Still has plenty of plot holes, but it's pretty fun and the acting is ages better than the first trilogy.

Watching the first time Peter vists Oscorp in ASM1 and watching him visiting Harry in ASM2 at Oscorp, side by side feels so ****ing weird.

Pictures don't really do it justice, but man, the guy looks and carries himself so different.

IDK...I highly doubt that lol.
