That damn auto corrector eh? :hehe:

I'm looking to my stand of movies and games trying to find something to do lol.

Yeah the damn auto corrector strikes again! :cmad:

We gotta get some halo 4 in again, we never got to play last night.

It's also Infuriating how we still have no news on the movies yet

I know :/ I can actually play a match now but i won't be up for much time before getting to sleep. Have to wake 6:30 AM tomorrow.

It truly is a shame, and I feel the same way for comics.

A couple of my close friends have asked me what it is about comics that's so appealing, and I always tell them read one before they say that. Still, I'm the only one among my two best friends who's interested in comics. I generally know quite a few people who do read them, so they're the ones who I end up sharing my ideas with. It just sucks sometimes because it's something you're passionate about, but no one immediately around you is interested.

It's pretty much the reason why I joined these boards recently.

I joined the boards for the same reason.

I don't have anyone in my life that is passionate about this stuff--a few friends and relatives that enjoy the CB based movies but that's about it. They all know of my obsession with Spidey and I've talked to them and educated them on all sorts of topics and for the most part they're all supportive, especially my wife. She's awesome. Even though she really has no interest in CB stuff, she sits and listens to all my ranting and has watched most stuff with me--even TSSM. She enjoyed that one quite a bit. I also still get jokes from friends/family now and again and most of my Xmas gifts end up being something Spider-Man, which is cool. I got some great shot glasses with Romita Sr drawn Spidey poses last year. And on my birthday last year, a group of guys at my work pitched in and got me a Spider-Man themed poker set complete with chips and cards, of course.

So, I guess it's cool to have people that support your passion but it's another thing entirely to have people share the same passion.

Might just be best to get some sleep, and we can play another time.

I have to say, you still are very fortunate; especially in terms of a loving wife that is your eyes and ears (get it?) when it comes to Spidey. Whenever I find my "soulmate," that's certainly one of the things I'll be looking for, so you are a lucky man.

In regards to people generally around me, I too get the same treatment. Occasionally I'll get teased here and there, but for the most part my family was always there for me when it came to me discussing Spidey over the years. I would always get some kind of surprise Spidey related as a birthday present, or generally throughout the holidays. People have texted me after the releases of TASM1 and TASM2 and asked me if it's worth seeing. My friends have gotten me a couple t-shirts and memorabilia as well. It always means a lot to me that they try to contribute to something I'm passionate about, even if they're not that interested in Spider-Man themselves. I realize I can be redundant and repetitive, and I would probably get annoyed if someone did the same to me, so I keep that in mind and appreciate their support.

I have a question, though. Do people know about you being on the Hype, or is this something you generally keep to yourself? There's only one person who knows about me being on the boards. It hasn't been intentional or anything, but I guess I never saw much reason to tell anyone.

Not really. Just thinking about some actions I did recently. One of them is regarding the whole confusion at SWH where I let some stupid guys blind me causing me to judge the ones that didn't deserved it.

There's also this guy who keeps teasing my gf at school so I kinda involved me and my teammates in a confusion against his team during this football training session on the afternoon. Well...it wasn't a calm moment

You can always try to apologies to the guys over at SWH, who you don't think deserved to be unfairly judged.

I can understand protecting your gf. But just be careful about what you say and do. Ok buddy?

Communication heals all, my friend.

Both of those situations are the kind where you just need to talk to the right people and communicate effectively. Apologize to those who don't deserve it, as long as you know it won't happen again. Knowing you, I know you'll own up to everything.

The second situation is more sensitive. You mentioned how you're about to go to a great school, so make sure you don't do anything to jeopardize your future academically. It's always tempting to be physical when we're young, but it's just not the best course of action.

As always, keep us posted.

Dudeee......I'm feeling a ****ton of regrets right now...

Gah.
You seem like a relatively young person.
You have plenty of time for regrets later....like 21. That's a perfectly good time, and conveniently when you can legally drink. It all comes together.

I don't know..it's been some time right now and most already moved on. I just think that people must consider me a "false" guy or whatever.

This guy,we never got along which other since looonng time,he's a idiot and jerk. And he knows what to do to affect me. Everything is intentional these days with him,I'm usually a chill guy but...argh :wall:

Every single physical contact turns to something bigger,it's what happened today, we bumped, threw some insults and the situation was created and the game was over. I just wished to maintain myself calm and don't let he influence me. I feel like a idiot.

But yeah, will be watching myself from now.

I suppose you are right. I will do that in a few couple of hours. Needed to get this out of my throat. Though, thanks for vote of faith.

I know i know but this guy is annoying as helllll. Seriously, I don't know what I did to deserve such a jackass. Flash from ASM? He's a butterfly compared to him. You are correct though, just a few more months.

17 thanks ya. Can't argue against you,you certainly have more experience than me with those things. But yeah, alcohol would be nice *pun*

Well, it's good to vent and I'm glad you're utilizing the outlet you have here on the boards. You're always welcome.

You're going to deal with plenty of characters like that in the next few years. Think of them as a test that you have to pass, because most of them are baiting you to slip up anyways.

My brother made a mistake like that seven years ago and he's facing its consequences to this day.

Man...you are so right  Nonetheless, thanks for the wiser words. Means a lot actually.
