A guy like that would never find himself in that stituation witha girl like Lana, if it had been with Lex or Lionel I could buy it but we're not even told how she found this stuff out she just knows.

How about a little trip to the HR Department. I'm sure she could find it out there. If they had to stop the flow of the episode to show the characters finding out these details we would be in Snoraville. Use your imagination to fill in the gaps.

Lana has been shown to be very resourceful. I mean the girl figured out that a spaceship landed during the first meteor shower. The only other person to find that information was Virgil Swann. And he was some rich reclusive meterologist.

Serene I'm blown away by how fantastic that was. Did you enjoy doing it?

I picked up the colors of the outfits, and especially Lana's white Jacket and black shirt. Does that mean she's good on the outside, but there's something dark brewing underneath?

Hmm.....

Thanks bud! It means a lot. :)

I'm glad someone else noticed the color thing too.. I was hoping I wasn't being a crazyfan. :p

And I believe that Lana's jacket was white.. but her shirt was black and white... so still mixed signals. I would have preferred she wore a black jacket and a white shirt, but that would have been too obvious..better they keep it ambiguous for those of us that notice these things. ;)

Your welcome.

I actually mentioned it in my little review of this episode upthread.

Black and white shirt, so its a bit murky.

Tabby from Amonline said that since huge spoilers werent being made available any more that they were going to start dropping in little hints like that within the episodes themselves.

Green Arrow also dealt with the death of rich parents, was a billionaire playboy, had a relationshipe with Lois at one point, also has no powers but trick arrows and stealth, ect ect.

You have to take a look at Golden Age Green Arrow, which is probably where they got much of their idea for this interpretation of Green Arrow. At least they are not putting in an Arrow Cave and Arrow-mobile, which Green Arrow in the comics had at one point.

Sheesh... ;)

oh yeah i know that. But come on, lets be honest, GA isn't exactly the first name that pops into your head when you think of the justice league. He's clearly more batman than he is the GA, and this is easier to do because of their similar background. It's not like they are completely taking away his GA qualities (aka robin hood stealing from the rich and giving to the poor mentality). It's also pretty obvious with his interactions with clark that ollie doesn't and won't take crap from him, no matter how much more powerful he is, similar to batman. We all know GA would never talk to Supes like that.

They established way back in Season 1 that any guy working on these kind of projects for Lex is kept in secrecy. Any information on this guy would have been hard to find.

Plus he wouldn't have revealed himself so easily in front of Lana to begin with.

I'm wearing Hulk's hat again this week. My ridiculously long review is now up at The Kingdom. ;)

" Lois being so up close and personal and still not recognizing him only minutes after being with him at the party requires a healthy dose of the usual suspension of disbelief we all need to be superhero fans, but the voice change is at least an attempt to rationalize it."

That part of your review struck a chord with me. But I instantly thought to myself "well it's Lois Lane." I once saw a cover to an old Superman book, over at superdickery.com It showed Superman telling Lana and Lois how he refused to date a woman, too stupid to realize that glasses were the only real thing seperating his identity as Clark and Superman. It's just a Lois Lane thing I suppose. For all of her investigative genius, she seems to regularly miss the obvious.

does anyone have the sneak preview of next week's epsiode? i'm trying to find on youtube with no luck.

I'm sure you can catch it, by watching Smallville tonight. They do repeat episodes now on Sunday's, just like they used to, back when they had Big Sunday on the WB. It replaced Runaways, so now, you have the best chance of catching the show or parts you missed.

Hmm.....

I may have inadvertantly stumbled on the truth.

Lana is actually dead. Much like Dorothy's house falling on the witch in the Wizard of Oz, the black ship actually fell on Lana at the end of season 4. Current "Lana" is a Brainiac construct. Ultimately Chloe (realizing her real destiny) will change her name to Lana Lang and settle in Smallville as the 'Lana' we all know and love. Thus the 'Chlana' becomes the one who knows Clark is Superman and occasionally comes to his aid in later life....

You know, that sounds so familiar...

Jeepers, da crazy things ya think of between flights at O'Hare airport.

You're at O'Hare? Yo! You're in my neck of the woods.
Kind of a cold, blah day here in Chicagoland though.

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to. Could you fill me in on this theory of yours? :cwink:

The only character that was working on the side was Dr. Hamilton and that's because he was a rogue and Lex wanted to study the meteor rocks without his father's knowledge.

There are no other characters that come to my mind that werent working for Luthorcorp. Especially after Lex assumed control of the company in Season 4.

That was something that the Twoppers were saying that was annoying the crap out of me. They were implying that Lois was stupid if she couldnt tell that Green Arrow and Ollie were the same person.

HELLO - Clark Kent/Superman. :whatever:

at least GA was wearing sunglasses, and a hood lol
not just glasses

No, actually Clark Kent is BATMAN. :batman:

That's the real reason we'll never see him on SV. It's all about the journey, ya know.. not the destination. Once he dons the ears, it's ALL over. :D

No way in hell is he THE BAT. So don't even go there .

Here check out a young Oliver in his prime in the comics, he kinda looks like Justin .

see this is Oliver, he does shut up nor does he pay attention . And he's a smart ass .

On a side note: shouldnt there be a bandage or at least a scar on lana's had from that pipe going throug her hand in "zod"??
