6.04 Arrow - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Has it already been noted that Lois wore the same dress to the cocktail party that Erica wore to the CW launch party?

Good thing they wear the same size. ;)

You do know that this was proably the wrong post to spell Spider-Man wrong.

comic book Ollie, with no beard, always looks strange to me. Ever since I was a young kid, Oliver Queen has had a beard. We're talking back when they had Justice League Task Force on the Sega Genesis.

You're at O'Hare? Yo! You're in my neck of the woods.
Kind of a cold, blah day here in Chicagoland though.

Sorry it took so long to answer. I was at ORD, but am now in the hotel at my home-away-from-home, Brussels. Was windy and partly to mostly cloudy at take-off time, but was an okay flight. Movie was "Akeelah & the Bee" followed by M. Night's "Signs". Thought I'd be bored, but Akeelah was actually pretty good. 'Signs' (which I've seen twice before) in my opinion, just gets worse the more you see it. I wasn't a fan of the movie to begin with, but eh, I dunno, just seem to have difficulty with MNS's stuff after "Sixth Sense" which like most everyone else, I thought was a great suspense piece. But (again, just my opinion) he's stumbled greatly since then. Oh hell, I've been up over 24 hours and am probably rambling. One thing for sure, I'm waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy off topic, so off to bed for a while.

TTFN...

Sorry I can't read through all 33 pages but at first I thought the rich guy at the start was meant to be Arnold Wesker, but his name was Westcot.

Word [I was kind to her in not mentioning this in my post, but since you mentioned it. ]

Avidreader like MJD said it's SPIDER-MAN not spiderman . :woot:

I felt the same way about the arrow-to-bullet shot: clearly ridiculous, and yet it looked so good you didn't care. :oldrazz:

Yep.

So cool... I loved that but so improbable no matter how good an archer you are. It would never happen, but I don't care.

LOL. Maybe I shouldn't have changed it............It didn't seem to help. Noone seemed to care that it was upsetting me.:csad:

You have good artwork blksuperman. I especially like the fact that you drew out Superman to be Reeves, and Routh, while you had welling as Superboy. And it's funny, because a friend was asking me last night, if they were going to make welling into Superman this season. And I told him that I was pretty sure they wouldn't, because the producers have a no cape/no tights policy. He said "I wouldn't care if they did the whole Superboy thing and gave him a black shirt with the S, but they should make it happen." I guess he wasn't alone in that thinking.

Thanks. I know that Welling will become Superman, but until he's allowed to :supes: he's basically Superboy in my eyes. As unpopular as that may be here.....................<Goes into hiding>

i dont think its unpopular to think hes superboy....just sans suit

Same way I look @ the issue .

You would think that with Superman Return's mild success, that they would be a little bit less afraid of having him don some tights or at least some kind of take on the costume, that makes him actually Superman/Superboy. They've already gone through all of his powers. X-ray/Heat/Telescopic vision. Super speed, flight. Super breath, super hearing. It's all there. He's in Metropolis. We've seen Perry White. Jimmy and Lois are there. Lex is finally evil completly and Pa Kent is deceased. The formula is complete. Anything from here on out is just teasing the fanbase. They are bringing in a pseudo Justice League this season for crying out loud. And it's obviously working...people are tuning in. Just give folks the man of steel on T.V. It worked for George Reeves, it worked for Dean Kain. Give Welling his due by making him the true heir to the television legacy. It would be odd for him to be the only Superman, to have never worn the suit.
