i wonder how close the exploding baby boy brought the series to jumping the shark

*Shakes his fist at Stephen DeKnight*

It's a good thing he made it up with some of his other episodes.:O

i don't mind them, but they've missed the mark a lot
Bee Girl? come on

Well, the problem with Bee Girl (Drone) wasn't the superpower she had or even the fact that her power was derived from exposure to kryptonite, it was the fact that she wasn't truly villainous.

It didn't help that the story wasn't exactly compelling.

In Blank, the villain wasn't all that villainous either but the profound effect his power had on Clark and the mystery behind what happened to his brother made for a very compelling story.

It helped a lot that the "FOTW" guy could act.

That always helps, you know we have had some stinker actors before.:O

I didn't mind the villian in craving but, after watching it again you just think why would you put meteor rocks in your food. If her dad had ate that he would have looked anerexic. Did you notice that when Clark was fighting with her in the green house. When she smacks him with the pole she gives a manly grunt and he does a bit of a girlie moan?

well when yu daughter s tha big....you'd try ANYTHING.

She's actually a very good actress. Amy Adams was nominated for an oscar earlier this year for Junebug and did anyone see "Taledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby?" She played the love interest and did a very good job of it...

Her acting wasn't my problem with Craving, it was the weird ass F/X with her mouth and her sucking the fat from that deer...

Eeww.

*shudder*

This is my theory, the parents are visiting the school for parents week or whatever. Ollie is tormenting duncan and Lex who found out something that could get Ollie expelled. Lex's tries to use it for blackmail, Duncan flips out, Lex's beats him up, he falls off the roof.

Ollie being the good guy that he is is going to fly back home with his parents and confess everything to the police.

Lex's flips out, tells his dad what happened. Lionel then plans for Ollie's jet to crash, but not for Lex, he really wants The queens dead so he can take over Queen Industries who have opposed his ways of buissness and havent allowed a takeover.

The plane crashes both his parents die, but Ollie lives. The only thing to come from the wreckage is his Bow and arrows, a gift from ollie's parents for winning some sporting event. A year Later he gets off the island fighting drug runners and basically takes the next 10 years off training (think Batman).

He comes back to Metropolis, to help out with this whole virus situation. He also confronts Lex about what happens

Interestingly, that FOTW (Jonathan Bennet) would go on to play Charlie Baker's brother-in-law in CBTD2.

OK I know I'm late to the party with this but why are they making Lex a victim?!?!? At least thats how the spoilers read anyway. Hero was a *****e bag in school and the bad guy was a victim. Dammit I hate when they try to make me sympathetic for the guy I'm supposed to hate.

Maybe there trying to show the seeds for how he became the way he is. Sometimes villans can be victims growing up (see any FOTW or X-Men)

From X-Men....he was treated as the red headed step-child instead of favored like Xavier, so he went all psycho crazy.

Yeah but in Lex's case I would prefer not to think of him as tortured just evil.

Well they gotta show how he became evil and sometimes the seeds are laid early in life

Though when Lionel hit on Memoria as a boy. He was getting on my nerves. All he did was cry.

Sometimes your posts make no sense to me......

you know its in my head perfect but, when i write it down i make mistakes and **** it up. What i meant to say was when LioNEL HIT Lex in memoria when he was a boy, i was like thank god. Because he was getting on my nerves. All he did was cry.

When did Lionel hit Lex? When he thought he killed Lucas? Lex was a little boy taking blame for a death he didn't commit.. I think you could cut the guy a little slack for crying.

Or maybe that's not what you are referring to.. I'm confused too.
