6.14 Trespass - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

They cut the shot of Clark and the wood shaping tool, dangit.

The security guy looked familiar as heck, but imdb says it was his first appearance. I recognized him as Drama's agent from Entourage, but he has a huge resemblance to someone I thought I had seen on Smallville before as well.

So.. she really must be carrying superevilspawn baby - 'cause I just can't imagine any normal pregnancy surviving all the physical tossing around she took in that episode.

For some reason I'm thinking she may not even be pregnant. What if Lex manufactured it so she would marry him...I guess we'll see.

Is Aaron's time up on the show? Or is he a semi-regular now? I hope he sticks around, and I'd love to see him working more with Clark, and even Lois.

I read an interview that he did and he said he is done for now, but could come back if they need him between some movies he is doing.

I liked the kung fu line better. :csad:

alright I put it back in for you....

THAT's who that was! I knew I had seen him before, but I thought it had been on the show. The sad part is that, that guy is probably the most competent security guard Lex has ever had on staff. LOL

Apprently the only way Lex can get good security, is if they all become obessed with Lana.

I've heard that spec (I think avid made it recently) but then why would the doctor have said that this "isn't a typical pregnancy" to Lex?

I read an interview that he did and he said he is done for now, but could come back if they need him between some movies he is doing.

Hmm. Strange, with him and Chloe being a couple again that we wouldn't see him occasionally. I hope they bring him back.

Well it's hard to say a line like that without revealing everything to the audience. She probably really is pregnant, but I like to go with long shot theories so I threw the not prego thing out there. :yay:

He said he was scheduled to come back in Feb. to film some stuff, but he hadn't heard if they still needed him. No telling what he filmed before he left for other work. So they probably have stuff in the bank.

These running commentaries on SV night always bring out the best and brightest...
Don't mind this doofus he just comes in here to cause trouble.
Is that a threat? Remember where that got you last time, troll.
And you're complaining...why?

Or do you sickies just want to see Lionel and Martha GET IT ON?

The skin crawls just thinking about it.

Seriously, did you come into this thread just to start trouble? Because you really had no reason to make any of these comments. I don't think any of this is relevant or appropriate.

When Lana was searching Clark's room, did anyone else feel the music was abit Batman Beginish.

God,Clark is so hot.
Ayemen, sistah.

Aight...

Highlights:
* Lana finding her old K necklace, long since neutralized (not that she knows that.)
* Clark saving Lana not once but TWICE. The pan up from his feet on the second save was awesome. I love Clark. Yeah, I do!
* Lana being a snoop. WOW! You go girl. I'd go through all of Clark's drawers too if I was alone in his room. No, really, I would! Mrrrrow! LOL

Parts I detested:
* Lana having a stalker, aye-freakin'-gain. I'm surprised Lex wasn't shot in this episode too. :p
* Chloe not doing what anybody else would do in her situation - confront Clark about what he said about her while the Red K truth serum was working its magic in the last episode. "WTF, Clark? Splain!"

Things I noticed that probably weren't intentional:
* Why was everybody's eyes bloodshot? (Specifically Jimmy and Lex's security guard/stalker dude.)
* Kreuk had a nasty sinus cold. Her voice was noticeably nasally.
* Could they have applied more make-up to Kreuk's face for that close-up shot in the hospital? Day-um!! That must have taken hours to scrap off.
* Who else thought "The Shining" during this episode? Here's Johhhhhhhny! LOL

All in all... a meh episode. I was disappointed that they didn't show Clark find (and fix) the tool, as shown in the DC. Next week's episode looks like it's about the same as this one too. So much for the streak of brilliant episodes. Oh well. Hopefully, things will pick back up when the writers return focus of the episode's A-story (Clark). :(

Let it be known that Clark has a poster of the Darkness "One Way Ticket to Hell...and Back" poster on his wall. Looks like the man of steel has great tastes in music.

They gave her own episode and she can't even keep from getting sick, very unprofessional. Must have been all that snow. :p I kid.

Right on both counts. Usually her make-up is flawless, but she definitely had some kind of upper respiratory thing going on, and I wonder if her coloring was just awful while filming this ep.

aw poor kreuk with the sinus cold. In the past Rosenbaums had noticable colds too. As for the bloodshot eyes? perhaps everyone took a hit in Rosenbaums trailer.....jk :)

Y'know, the first time I read this post, I didn't think "frozen water" for snow. You know, nasally voice? Snow? Oh, n'mind. :ninja:

ROFLMFAO!!!!

Hey, ya nevah know. (I'd go to Rosey's trailer too if he invited me.) :D

I only noticed because she's stunning and doesn't NEED make-up troweled on her like that. She musta been wicked sick. Ouchies. :(

LMAO! Must admit - I thought the same. *sniff*

Are you kidding me? Party in Rosey's trailer! I'm SO in. And I'm dragging Tom in too.

I was thinking about this other point you made:
Lana being a snoop. WOW! You go girl. I'd go through all of Clark's drawers too if I was alone in his room. No, really, I would! Mrrrrow! LOL
And I have to agree, I'd have to snoop too. Just a little. But my main priority would be to get into those sheets of his and lay on that pillow to see if they smell like him.

I know.. I'm a sick woman. But I bet he smells great. :O

Holy Crap, When I saw it, I was like, "I'm shocked he didn't say 'here's Johnny!'"

BTW... regarding posters, can I just say I giggle every time I see the "A Clockwork Orange" poster and Black Sabbath and ELP album covers in the Talon apt? I wanna give the set decorator a big fat kiss. :D

ELP - Brain Salad Surgery. That used to be one of my favorite albums.

It's in the basement with the "Morning After" 45. :D

I know, I was thinking the same exact thing. Then I had some flashbacks to an old Simpsons Treehouse of Terror ep. where they made fun of the Shining. :D

Great minds...

(or college students in the 80's?)

Oh, well NOW you're making it a no brainer.

Okay... within the fiction... would Clark even *have* a natural scent?

Outside of the fiction... I'd steal his dirty laundry....

Yeah, I know, TMI. Sorry. Can't help myself. The Vodka kicked in an hour ago. :O

Poor willy. He deid, like, three times in that episode.

Good Guest Star. Lana Was Actually Good This Week. Clark Was a Hero. This Show Is Still On It's Streak!

He pretty much said where are the girls to defend this episode & that he said he was sure that there was stuff that they liked about the episode to brag about it

I love the smallville fangirls on the hype.

I believe most of the ladies live in the Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones. So they may not have seen it yet or are watching it as we speak...

Thanks, Eros et al! I'm on Eastern time nowadays.

Click on the arrow for a few of my comments on this ep, as posted at The Planet. To summarize what I wrote there: cool that Lana found her necklace & focused on the was-green stone; should have shown the chisel being returned to the barn or at least hinted at who took it; should have shown Clark straightening the chisel. Guessing Clark rummaged around Lana's room for the chisel at superspeed after saving her from the fall, found it, and put it in the barn himself.

Additional comments:
* Relieved that they didn't make it seem more like Clark was really stalking Lana in the actual show - that's how it looked in the preview setup

* Disappointed that the ep didn't show Lana (or just a closeup of eyes!) watching Clark from the shadows of the barn at the end. So much for my hypothesis that she'd been present and listening and watching for the entire Clark-Lex exchange :-<

* Obvious that it was one of the two security guards since they were the ONLY ones definitely present at both the Luthor mansion and the Talon, and since it was eerily quiet in both places when they were around. Wake up & find eerie silence -> GET OUT OF THERE, LANA! Surprised she didn't start looking for her/a phone immediately in the "old wing" of the hospital.

* Loved Clark catching her in the mansion. Too bad he couldn't catch her at the bottom of (or top of!) the stairs as well. She'll probably ask him/ream him out about that at some point, in a fit of anger/frustration.
