I know this is trivial but it sounds like Bane says "When Gotham is ashes" not "When Gotham is in ashes".

It's very hard to hear but the line (as I heard it) goes like:

"When Gotham..is in ashes...you will have my permission to die."

There's a small beat between "Gotham" and "is in" but it's there. I'm going to see SH2 tonight so I'll report back on the clearer line when I hear it t:

That's a relief but I wonder if there final fight isn't really out in the open and in a place where it is just them two like with joker and batman at the end of the darknight even though it really wasn't a fight

Batman out in the day regaining the support of the city. That would make TDK the return of the jedi of the series.

I refuse to believe that Batman breaks Bane's mask inside of City Hall, and then that's it - Bane's defeated. He's the main villain. There has to be more. The climactic scene HAS to be one final fight between the two.

If Bane is defeated in that moment, then I am going to dry-face all over the place.

I think it's obvious with the prologue that they're setting us up to think Bane without his anesthetic will mark him as defeated. Not only do I think he'll make it out of City Hall, but his mask being broken will make him more dangerous.

They've said they did a lot of sound stage stuff. Could of easily done a fight on a sound stage with none of us the wiser.

Trust me, that won't happen. However Bane is defeated, it's going to be something that none of us expected.

Having watched the trailer again, the part where Bane talks to Batman is definitely in the same location/scene as this shot from the teaser! And it seems he is wearing that black coat(though it's hard to tell) in the trailer. So the black coat is still in. lol

So in that picture he's actually looking at a beaten Batman. Pretty cool! I really didn't think much of this shot when the teaser came out. Kind of mind blowing to now know that this is the moment where he's taking the piss out of Batman!

Man I really hope not that would mean they only have two fights naw I think they are hidin the final fight as this is the epic conclusion and I believe there is a top secret new batman suit none of us has seen so that when It first appears I will need a fresh pair of pants

I don't think it's straight after he's beaten up Batman. I think it's after he's incarcerated Bruce into that jail area, because you can see cell bars behind him.

I don't know, the inside of Bane's brown coat is very light and fluffy.
