Wait, I thought the trailer was attached to all prints of SH2? What gives? I got my tix for tomorrow for SH2 non-IMAX :\

I'm getting worried here. :(

The trailer should also be in front of SH2, they're also apparently showing it in front of MI4 on digital Imax screens as well.

Yeah was gonna head down to the Metreon, but decided it was just to damn chilly out to be downtown..that and I saw a better version of the boot.

So how do you know If your theatre is digital IMAX or not and what movie do you think would be the better choice to see sherlock Holmes or mission impossible 4

Don't worry, you'll see it.

It better, or I'm gonna raise hell at the theater tomorrow, oh and I will be little tipsy as well since my friends and I are having a pre-movie drinks get together. :woot:

Thx for the 411 guys.

Nothing is wrong with me haha I meant I'll see the prologue when I see the whole movie my interests are in the trailer and mission impossible 4 but it would be even better if the digital IMAX has the trailer

Bond goes fishing:

Hey, thanks! That's pretty cool. Nolan really does love his James Bond nods in his movies then. :hehe:

Well, the good news (for me at least) is that Bane's voice was only unintelligible at times because of the score. In the newest bootleg, I had no trouble understanding his last few lines.

Just saw it in theaters couldn't understand a word of what he was saying
I was on the isle seat however I dont think that mattered too much.
Pretty sure our speakers were way to cranked at that point MI4 didnt have a problem once.

I really would need to see any bootlegg version to make much sense of the scene, I have a very small Idea of what actually happend:doh:

Just came back from watching the prologue and MI4. I not only had some trouble figuring out what Bane was saying, but the rest of the characters also. I did get some things here and there but that was about it. Other than that, it was amazing! The crowd reaction was great too. Everyone around me seemed to be talking about it even before it started and by the end of it, the audience burst into cheers and applause.

Does anyone have a leak of this and be nice enough to PM the link to it? I would greatly appreciate it. :woot:

just saw the prologue in imax.... could not understand a single word that came out of anyones mouth, and it didnt help that bane was talking through a mask.

the audio was mixed extremely terribly the bass was just echoing and rumbling the room so much...on top of that hans zimmers blaring soundtrack like inception , and it wasnt imax's fault because MI4 sounded crystal clear...

this actually got me to think twice about seeing it in imax lol im sure it'll be fixed, or maybe that was just a bad copy.....
but who cares about sound... it was still amazing.
off-topic but so was MI4..lol cant wait for the summer

god now Im scared
when I was typing my point i figured i got a crap setup

just realised this problem existed for others too

I have a feeling there have been complaints that people couldn't hear what was going on, so they turned it up for the audience which is making it worse.

Just kidding :woot:

:woot:

SO...rewatching the prologue of course. When the militant group pulls up to the CIA plane. Are those the cardington hangers in the background behind the plane????

Yep they are. I thought that was really cool that they were included in the film. They are used so much for filming interior scenes, they deserved to be in the film. :D

Hm I only knew of 3 prologue leaks.

EDITED:

Prologue (First leak) Can see everything, but it is smaller, and not very clear.
Prologue (Second leak) This one is much, much clearer (62MB). But the guy holding the recording device seemed to hold it low, cutting off about 20% of the bottom of the screen.
Prologue (Third leak) Watching. EDIT: This is the best one.
Prologue (Fourth leak) Sound linked up proper. About 170 MB. EDIT: Looks to be the second one with the cutoff bottom. Someone added black bars to the top and bottom. The quality doesn't seem any better for the larger size though. Strange. Go with the third until something better.

Trailer (First leak) In flv and MP4 formats. Small, blurry, and bad sound. But it is the TDKR theatrical trailer online a week early. Can't complain.
Trailer (second leak) Like night and day. No, it's not Hi-Def or even 480. But it is pretty sweet and more than enough till Monday.

Cool coo, I was like, "aahhhh hell." I actually am relieved to hopefully NOT be hunting down leaks for a few days lol.

I remember reading a post when the prologue first hit about them loving the Licence to Kill (airplane) nod. Can someone give me a headsup on what that nod is exactly, I don't even remember seeing that Bond movie.

In Licence To Kill, Bond gets on a CIA helicopter (with Felix Leiter) and bungee cords onto the main villain's (Sanchez) smaller plane. He hooks a cable around the tail of the smaller plane - subsequently, the smaller plane loses power and "hangs" in the air below the larger plane, just like the TDKR prologue.

but unlike the prologue Bond skydives and lands perfectly at the wedding reception he's been holding up!

Do you think we will see the plane crash in the movie or not? The prologue ends when it's falling down, right?

So it seems like people have trouble understanding characters in Nolan's films. This was the case for BB, TDK, Inception and now TDKR.

Nolan should take the hint and work on balancing the sound levels.

I think it will cut JUUUUUUUST about where it did. Maybe just a second or two longer.

My IMAX screen is 50' x 70'. It's been around for years. I've seen Aliens of the Deep, 300, Transformers (when it was re-released), Dark Knight, Transformers 2, Sucker Punch, and Tron there.

So it's not a new theater. It has recently changed to digital. But negating that...what's the scoop on this?

is cinemark xd = digital imax?

i hope so, cause i'll be seeing mi4 tomorrow and i hope the trailer plays before it.

either way, planning on sneaking into sherlock holmes afterwards, regardless.

if you go to the official Imax website, it lists all theaters playing the TDKR prologue, so there's no need to guess if you'll get it or not.
