And I raise you three more.

I raise you four more.

They are gonna have to raise Bane's voice levels in the final film so people can understand him. The mask muffles his voice to much.

Nolan has stated that he won't alter much.

The dialogue from the plane scene will be hard to understand for a few out there, but the audience shouldn't have trouble understanding Bane afterwards.

I don't want this Bane issue to harm the way people look at Tom Hardy or Nolan. I honestly cannot believe how people say they can't hear Bane...

I don't have the best hearing, but I heard everything he said perfectly. Well, besides for "No! They expect one of us in the wreckage brother!"

I couldn't agree more. I understood 99% of Bane's dialogue in the prologue without the assistance of the script. So it baffles me how anyone can say they didn't understand Bane at all.

I understood some things that Bane said. But, it was like hearing someone with a really thick accent. Some things you pick up. Other things you don't.

I loved everything I saw. Drove two hours out of my way just to see it and it was an entire fangasm. And seeing Catwoman? God, Nolan got that right. Worried went away immediately.

In Nolan, I trust.

I didn't understand a lot of his dialogue in the prologue. I understood his one line in the trailer just fine. I hope he sounds like that in the final cut.

The imax projectionist may need to make sound adjustments themselves. that is what we did at work and it now sounds great.

I too thought the people were just trying to make a commotion with the not hearing Bane thing, but when I saw the prologue in IMAX yesterday I couldn't understand a single thing. It was actually kinda funny hearing garble garble lol.
He sounded awesome in the trailer though!

I can hear all of his dialogue perfectly clear from a bootleg off of my iPhone, so I dot see anyone's issues? I also saw this in IMAX but want to prove a point...

To be fair the bass in an IMAX theater is far more powerful than any bootleg, that's part of the problem people are having

Well the thing is people are kidding themselves if they`ve never seen a movie before where they couldnt understand a character because of the thick accent.

What does it matter if it's happened before? If it's a problem it could interfere with the film's aesthetic.

I personally didn't have a problem but if it is as bad as some say something should be done.

also the mask doesnt muffle his voice.. he has a microphone inside the mask.. you can see the cord at his neck in several shots .

I've never had much trouble but sometimes I don't catch certain things. I remember when In Bruges came out on dvd. I'd recommend it to friends and they complained about the accents. Meanwhile I didn't have any issues.

It's almost similar to Cloverfield . A couple people had to leave and one puked in the aisle. Meanwhile I enjoyed it with no problems.

This is just going to be one of those things that divides people. I'm not sure Nolan will "fix it". Maybe it will be easier for everyone in the context of the film , depending on how they score it.

Off topic, but that is a fantastic movie.

Same here. I had trouble with the prologue. I had no trouble with the trailer.

Got my tickets. Can't wait to see this (and M:I4) in three hours! :)

I finally saw the prologue attached to Mission Impossible and had to drive like 2 hours to see it; I missed maybe one minute of it, but no biggie; I did in fact have a hard time understanding some of the things Bane was saying; I like the effect the mask gives his voice and I think his accent is cool and I still got the jist of what was happening but it was like listening to a really bad ass Boomhauer at some points . . . I hope I can understand him through the whole film when it's released
