Great stuff, I love Clark's influence on everyone around him, cool stuff!!!
up:

Wow...so is this like the 70th time they've gotten back together?![]()
the episode felt like a step back. Everything was going well until that last minute.![]()
I thought it was through the neckless but it is only use to block the optic nerve thing. I wanted to see more of Emil and John get his powers back but it was a good episode. seven.five/tenyeah, Lex is one crazy dude. I wonder how he bugged Tess' optic nerve though.

Well it comes as no surprise to me that this episode overall was disappointing . (I said this way back when I read the spoilers .) Yes this episode had great moments . But overall it was Garbage .
As it stands the first half of season 8 soared to new heights towards the superman mythology . so far the second half has been week .
It's amazing how much of a negative influence lana has both in this series & Clark .
You can clearly see a contrast between the two
With lana, Clark has more issue with uncertainty ... his maturity is basically thrown out the window and replaced with doubt, confusion and a great deal of insecurity .
With Lois, Clark actually is a lot tougher, his determination and confidence is clear . and he shows much more maturity .

I think people have to stop blaming Lana for Clark's actions, Clark is an adult, he's responsible for his actions, Lana is not forcing him to do anything, he's the one having doubts about what type of life he really wants. All this Lana hatred is kind of misogynistic, just too easy to blame her instead of CK.

The episode was good for the most part, nice scenes with Turpin, Ollie and MM, plus some development regarding Tess, now we know why she decides the merger.
im surprised no one is mentioning the extremely brief glimpse of lex in his power suit. just before the cat fight, lana was looking at the information on the drive that she stole from tess, and they have a "version 1" and "version 2", where version 1 has a bald headed person in some sort of suit. i can only speculate that it is supposed to be lex.
overall, not too terrible an episode, but i had a feeling it wouldnt be as good as the previous two. i would get a picture of the suit, but no way of capturing it. those who taped (old school, i know) or dvr'd it, check it again, im pretty sure its there.

I blame Clark too . But you can't deny that lana is not at fault . She's had negative influence . Clark's used her as an excuses through out this entire series run . He rather be with her and forsake his destiny . Than be The Hero he's destined to become at this point in his life .
The world is in need of a savior that will be inspiration to many. A light to those who have lost their way in the darkness. A champion of justice, etc... Deep down Clark knows he's that he's the one . But what's holding him back is his desire to be with lana, when he himself knows it's just not ment to be .
