Yeah I guess you're right. Thanks.

I've watched this scene about five times now (maybe more):

It was a beautifully done "Lois and Superman" exchange, just like in the comics.

What's that word? Oh yeah, Iconic! :cwink: :p

I do hope we get more scenes like that in the final episodes of this year, as well as many eps next season.

I rewatched the episode Saturday night with my roommates, and found it to be a lot more problematic than I first thought. But I also found this scene to be the best thing about the episode. Like, the stand-out best thing. It almost felt as though the rest of the episode hadn't deserved a scene this good... or maybe it just felt that way in comparison to the rest. Erica did such a wonderful job here, I was really impressed and moved. It took her a while to grow on me, but this season, and, dare I say, this scene alone, proves that they need to bring her on full-time.

I'll second that. I truly hope Erica gets a full 22 episode contract for next season.

She'd Better be, their no reason now why she should be in for the full 22 episode next season . Next season is the finale, Lois should be present from start to finish .

Amen to that.

Next season is shaping up to be a fantastic conclusion with most of the staple characters in their places.

About the whole time travel thing, Clarks clothes were full of bullet holes before he went back in time, but after he put the ring on his clothes were fine. So maybe his self from the future merged with the past.

That is what i was saying before too. As for lois/erica if allison is indeed to be given the boot. i would hope erica could get a 22 episode contract deal but i know she isnt likely to be given all 22 but i would be open for 17-19 with her just being off for 2-3 episodes.

This was an interesting episode, which as former episodes, showed us Clark's relationships with those around him.

It in many ways was a Lois vs. Chloe test.

The acting was all over the place, was a strange, campy and vampy Tori Spelling, bland acting by Welling and Durance, and some great stuff from Mack and Witwer. Mack and Witwer, in their scenes with each other, and with the other cast, really were outstanding.

Durance seems to playing her scenes with Welling's Clark as if Lois is totally in love with Clark, while by choice or not, Welling seems to be playing his as if he is constantly looking at his watch, waiting for the scene to be over. I don't know if this is by the director's instructions or not.

It doesn't help that, as has been discussed at many media outlets', Durance and Welling just don't have any on screen chemistry, and it really does slow down any and all pacing with their scenes, making them too long, and grating. Durance does/did have chemistry with Green Arrow dude, but they don't seem to be together any more. Durance's poor acting choices throughout the episode didn't help either. She can be an ok actress at best, but this episode did not show any of it.

Welling with Mack was better, and their chemistry was as usual, of the charts, as was Mack's and Witwers. The season is so much better with the whole storyline involving Mack, Welling and Witwer, that was originally planned with Durance in the Mack role.

In the comparison between Lois and Chloe, well, the story opens with a selfish and self-centered Lois, and just continues on through. Lois, either wait inside and don't get wet, or call a cab, it is not difficult.

Clark's secret and Lois being surprised she wasn't the first to know, really dear, are you that stupid, really. Lois believed she was entitled to know the secret, and that really is her worst trait, a huge sense of entitlement, in eveythihg that really hurts the character.

We saw Lois badly throughout, especially in the "special" dialogue and scene. She felt entitled to know, and was trying to guilt Clark in to telling her after the time change.

Chloe on the other hand worried about Clark, and his safety. She endangered herselft tryingn to destroy any evidence and info about Clark she could. Quite Courageous.

The scene with Clark and Chloe in the end, in which she couldn't or wouldn't say goodbye, and Clark saying after everything that he would find her, were romantic and heroic. They have a bond unlike all others on this show, and it has worked for 8 seasons. Quite nice.

So we have selfish and self-centered Lois, and a Chloe who is self-aware and thinking of others. We have a stupid Lois, outsmarted and outplayed by Linda Lake vs a smart and resilient Chloe who has outsmarted and outplayed Linda in the past.

The last scene where Clark does find and regroup with Chloe is so different with him not doing anything with Lois, is also telling. Lois he stood you up, he just isn't that into you.

The ratings finals from Nielson's are out, the show did 3.56 million, not that well. Most Lois/Erica episodes don't, it wasn't a suprise.

No wonder Allison Mack is the show lead actress. We saw it all over the screen in this ep.

I was expecting some Back To The Future shenanigans. Clark goes back in time and somehow replaces himself and the Legion Ring rather than finding his double, explaining the situation, and going back to his own corrected timeline? Would have made more sense, and a fun little bit too.

LMAO! This is going to be entertaining when Hulk gets here. Break out the popcorn folks. :D

Yea, it's a rather funny review. My guess is you got lost...the website you want is Kryptonsite.com/forums.

Hence my offering of popcorn to everybody. I read posts like that the same way I do posts over at TWoP: holding my sides. :woot:

As to K-Site, I don't see them as Chloesite anymore. They're still very much "ship" based, but there's a growing number of fans who support the more traditional, "iconic" future for Clark/Superman. It is a major part of the mythology and the direction the show has been headed per its own admission ever since Lois first showed up in Season 4.

Seriously, I can't watch Clark turn down poontang or destroy something cool(Legion ring) anymore. What is wrong w/ him?

well whats wrong with destroying the legion ring. He had a very good reason to do it. He wouldnt want someone like linda mucking up time, and he said its a power to great to have. As for him not meeting with lois at the end of the episode there is alot of good reasons why he didnt like others have pointed out.
