Spimply Amazing.... I swear to God, they better have a tenth season now after episodes like this.

I think Michael Shanks said it best in his interview. "It went from teenagers with problems and worrying about grades, to a Superhero show worrying about saving people"

Cat, Speedy, Stuart, as side characters were all good. Lois and Clark are so much fun together! Chloe doing her stuff, Ollie being a hero, Zod and Tess countinue to go after each other is all sorts of wins in my book. Might be the best episode of the season!

I need to be honest. For the past 3 years i've been wanting SV to end. As a hardcore fan who's been there since the beginning after season 5, I really felt that they'd done all they can with the premise...especially if they have absolutely no intention of progressing this CK into Superman.

BOY WAS I WRONG.

This episode/season has been nothing but quality. Tonights was top notch entertainment, Clois was amazing, Ollie and his storyline with Mia was good and I like where they seem to be going with Zod and the Kandorians. Next week looks to be EPIC as well!!! If they keep this up, i'm all for a Season 10!!!

Props Smallville, you got me hooked (again). :woot:

yea last year(mostly) and so far this year have been very solid and good new direction in the show.

God, I had a grin on my face during this entire episode! Speedy was fantastic, Chloe was sick with it, Ollie was awesome, and Clark and Lois were exceptional. I want to give more thoughts, but right now I am all up in the 7 hour Ghost Adventures interactive ghost hunt thing, so I'll come back later.

Real quick though, does anyone know what the song was that plays during the scenes when Ollie picks up Speedy again and Chloe confronts Stuart at the end there? It fit PERFECTLY!!!

This was probably my favorite episode so far!!!
Agreed

Agreed 100%

As i asked on page 7, does any one have a good quality screen cap of that nice daylight exterior shot of watchtower building?

R.A.O inc, god I didn't half smile when I heard that. I was just like omg its the Kandorians and then Zod walks out. Loved Ollie's story, was pretty good missed the GA suit, time for him to start saving people in the suit again. I liked Mia, thought the relationship was good with Ollie, her distrust and then turning to trusting him to betraying him and then helping him.... kinda pissed that Ollie just left her but uno, guy shooting at him I'd run as well.

Ollie: I can help you.

Guy with a gun come

Ollie: see ya (Runs away)

Loved the Lois and Clark stuff, didn't notice Cat Grant, was she Clark's date? :S Loved the kiss, really surprised me. Erm... "you've made me mad" Chloe's now the Hulk.

Now this is more like it. Not once did I want to smack any of the characters over the head, and even though some moments and lines were a bit silly, I was giggling at them instead of scoffing.

Not a spectacular ep, but still very enjoyable.

The Pimps/Thugs-Lamest Smallville villains since that psycho from the Diner who was obsessed with Kara in "Fracture".
Yeah, this was really the only lame part of the episode, but then what can you do with a pimp? And I'd say the evil cops from Bulletproof were about as lame.

DANG! I wasn't paying attention.

Well played Webhead.
Good review Webhead. I espacially like that cat grant got the role as a tv host in the end as well as the origin of the tower in Lois's vision. Speedy wearing red, yellow and black as well as Ollie's comment was great.

i love that epic walk clark does while he's charging up his heat vison

I really wish they had fired people a long time ago. This show would have been great. I now would love to see what they can do with Lex. I hope Resenbaum comes back.

totally i said already last night that was a wicked scene. hopefully ratings for over night is good since the final numbers will have to count out the bulls viewers in chicago so the final will be a bit lower.

This was a great episode! I wonder though, will Speedy get a suit in Disciple?

great clip prison mike was a good scene, and flash13 its very likely mia will get her speedy outfit in disciple. As i said in earlier post she will probably have a full sleved suit like ollie has sported a few times, it will probably be solid red, with a yellow hoddie, yellow sunglasses/goggles, yellow boots, and probably some yellow streaks in in arms/legs/upper body areas.

If any one can get me a screen cap of the daylight exterior shot of watchtower that would be great.

For the most part I liked the episode, but I am starting to get sick of the amount of time Ollie has been getting the past few episodes. The show needs to shift to Clark being a hero more often then Ollie's trial of the week.

The whole Ollie wants Lois back is definantly something that never should have been brought up, and that was roughly 3-4 minutes of screentime that could have been better used for Clark stuff.

well thats done with now sv fan, and clark should be a key focus point in kandor, idol, pandora.

I'm with you on this. As good and consistent as this season has been... the last three epis have felt more like an 'Oliver show', with Clark/Blur as a guest/secondary character rather than the other way around. Clark's narratives have been put in second, while Oliver has taken the lead in the main narratives in the episodes.

well it should be changing in the next few. The next time ollie looks to have a focus is episode 10. With episode 7 we got zod/jorel/clark/kandorians, 8 wonder twins and clark, episode 9 lois/the future.

I disagree. they were building to the triangle confrontation, and i'm glad they got it out of the way early in the season.

totally they could have easily dragged out ollie's renewed feelings for lois and be a 3rd wheel on lois and clark relationship for the whole season.

It shouldn't have been brought up in the first place though. I was happy as hell with the way it was resolved in Bride(episode 8X10). What exactly was the reason to explore it again? You take out any stuff revolving around Ollie/Lois the past couple episodes and give that time to Clark, I would have been much happier.
