Yeah I have no interest in this. I basically just dropped in here to say that JK is a POS whose dangerous rhetoric is putting people’s lives at risk. And now she’s expanded her hate beyond trans people and is going after asexuals.

Every adult actor who signed onto this (especially the really well-established ones who don’t need it) should be ashamed of themselves.

I simply hope people don't pile on these kids at all, regardless of which side of the culture war one finds themselves on. It's bad enough seeing how Bella Ramsey is treated. This is where the spotlight will fall upon the writers and showrunners because a well made show does much of the leg work in negating these bad faith takes and arguments that we will see on social media.

In regards to Harry's possible casting, I'd be 50/50 at this point on the actor's ethnicity. I could see it for both Harry and Hermione but Ron, no. Either way I reckon the announcement is imminent.

I wish Paapa the best of luck as Snape anyway, I see no reason why he can't give a stellar performance. Paul Whitehouse as Filch is just.....the type of casting that when it happens, you have to appreciate it as fans. Absolutely perfect.

A poor choice of words from me. I do not in anyway condone Rowling's frankly obscene fixation on the issue of Trans, an issue so utterly overblown by the likes of her which has contributed to the absurd situation the world finds itself in right now, namely America.

My point was simply that I do not want to see the kids that will partake in this show dragged into the issue.

The LGBTQIA+ community is pissed off at you, someone who has played a trans character in the past and is probably friends with the parent of a trans kid, for playing a role that’s part of a series of books written by s TERF who has said transphobic things over the last few years.

And you can’t imagine why?

But, I guess when you have only about a decade to live, are receiving a huge paycheck and none of the hate affects you directly, you can afford to not give a s**t, right?
