Hard to tell. There were always young muppets back in the day crossing the border for Spring break on Sesame Street so 20/30 years later direct heritage got more difficult to prove.

In most ways the Sesame gang are just outgunned barring the rare tank like Snuffy and Big Bird and maybe a couple of physics defying high level magic users. I guess the Count is an immortal and I can see Super Grover having some impact on the battlefield but in the end the other Muppets are just too varied in powers and skills. Plus many have psychological tics that render standard tactics ineffective. I mean one side sings songs to teach kids basic math. The other is made up of chicken ****ers or guys that have learned to weaponize fish as boomerangs. One is a kindergarten and the other is an insane asylum.
