It was a testing of the emergency broadcasting system.

I was watching MSNBC when on my cable it did a test of the emergency broadcast system (no mention on it of the president).....I just now was checking news on my computer and found this -

The Federal Emergency Management Agency sent an alert on Wednesday aimed at tens of millions of mobile phones to test a previously unused presidential alert system to warn the public in the event of a national emergency.

The test message was originally scheduled for September but pushed back to 2:18 p.m. EDT (1818 GMT) on Wednesday with phones making a loud tone and a special vibration. The message read: "THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.” A separate alert on televison and radios was issued at 2:20 p.m. EDT.

Still nothing on my end.

eesh... Venom got poopoo'd on.

Silly Venom. :p

And I see Venom is getting bad reviews.

I'm not surprised. The trailer didn't look so good. :(

It may be a genuinely disappointing movie but apparently a lot of Lady Gaga's "little monsters" were deliberately trashing it in an attempt to get A Star Is Born more recognition and audience.

I guess it doesn't work on all phones. I do get Amber Alerts still.

It has a rotten score.

Venom

Venom
I have seen that from the critics who have actually seen it. It is disappointing though not surprising given they neutered it with a PG-13 rating and are trying too hard to make it a success to tie into the MCU.

I shut my phone off, I didn't want to scare the dogs. :(

So Telltale is officially shutting down. :(

Gaming studio known for their choice based games for The Walking Dead and Batman.

They took on too many projects and stagnated choosing quantity over quality. And Telltale apparently was a terrible employer. Working their employees until after midnight with no days off at times and even worked them to death right up until the moment they fired everyone. Gave them no warning. Didnt even give the employees severance pay. Now the employees have a class action lawsuit filed against telltale.

Poor Venom.

T'CHALLA: Hey Logan! Hey Jean! Come on in. There's plenty of room! ... Sorry, not you, Venom.

VENOM: Why not?

T'Challa points to sign: "No Symbiotes Club."

VENOM: But you let in Carnage.

T'CHALLA: It says no Symbiotes. We're allowed to have one.

VENOM: Oh ... :csad:

So who got banned in the Supreme Court thread or was just a conversation deleted?

Hope they get something out of that and the idiot suits lose something for their idiocy.
