Yes. It'll be for the public good long term IMO so the government should sponsor and get behind this movement. I know people want to have fun, especially when they're young, but you can have too much of a good thing and the human mind responds best when stimulation sources are varied up. We all get enough Nazi on weekdays and with Nazi happy hour on Saturdays, I don't think it's too much to ask to switch out with "Ask Pol Pot" sit down sessions and "coffee breaks with Josef" on Sunday mornings. YMMV.

I am thinking the creators are feeling they can do things like that now and what I call "Fisk vision" (when Fisk was reading about Poindexter's past) because the audience trusts them to tell the story in a way that isn't just easy to digest pablum. What did you think about the first fight Matt had against Dex? I loved the way it was executed. A matchup between the man with superior senses vs a man with enhanced targeting ability. One can measure the angles with absolute accuracy and the other can use those angles to his advantage with pinpoint precision.

I'm happy it aged really well, but I still want a superb better movie that escapes the shadow of this one. Superman deserves his time in the light in modern era, something that stands talked about as much as the old Star Wars trilogy.

I want a new great Superman too....but until then, the first 2 Reeve movies are the best.

Finished the Daredevil season 3 marathon earlier today and then fell asleep for hours. Absolutely amazing stuff and quite possibly my all time favourite season of a superhero show.

Superman '78 is talked about in the same breath as SW original trilogy, especially for those who lived through both first time round. Neither SW series or any contemporary Superman film will ever meet their respective 70's films.
