Alright guys listen. I'm saying that the muggings I would see on patrol would be the ones I stop. If I see any other crime in progress, I will stop to help. Otherwise I would help respond to crimes on the radio, and also I would get there consistently early because I would go to crimes that are relatively near me or if I knkw the police can't respond. I would have a contact in the police force so that I would know what criminals they're after. Also, as for crimes in progress, I would occasionally show up as backup, just in case they need it.

1: You would probably never see muggings while on patrol. Or, at least, it would be a very uncommon occurrence.

2: How would you know that the police can't respond?

3: What would you do if the police arrived while you were still there?

4: What if the police do not accept your offer to help "as backup?"

5: How do you plan to acquire a contact on the police force.

6: Again, how do you plan on capturing known criminals the police are after?

There are actually people who try to do this in real life.

And we're the bad guys for pissing on their dreams and supposedly not caring about people who get raped and mugged.

If you truly want to do good, Arrow, do charity work. Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Donate money to victim services groups. That sort of thing.

What you're suggesting is not going to work. You will not reduce crime. If you actually do decide to get a degree in Criminology (I have one, for the record), you'll learn that your views are horribly misguided and flat out wrong.
