99.9% of those on the street right now are black. Out of that portion, not all of them are looting or committing violence. However the ones that are doing it are obviously black.

That made sense and we agree. I do understand their anger but dang it, they need to start to identify the idiots that do these things that hurt their cause. It's the same as Ferguson. I'd love to see how Ferguson looks 5 years from now.

I feel bad for the innocent within this Black community who will suffer from a lack of resources due to all this senseless looting. A damn shame.

There are also some poor white people and different ethnicity's in hideout to avoid violence, who are going to be dealing with this tomorrow. Everyone living there will suffer.

Not to be controversial but the people involved in the looting and violence have all been predominately Black. That doesn't mean all Black people support this but let's not sugar coat it.

I see white people compare the looters to animals and say "it would be open season" if it occurred in their neighborhood.

But when white people riot over something trivial like a sporting event you don't hear the same comments.

Agreed! That's what I don't get. If you are going to riot and do some damage, destroy a police station but now you are destroying innocent civilians who had nothing to do with what's going on. My only hope is that the nursing home had insurance because I know the liquor store and CVS did. If that liquor store didn't(especially in the hood)then they are some dumb mofo's.

I've also heard (on yahoo again)that "the good blacks" should reign in the bad blacks to stop this......how do they propose this be done? I swear, racist just want any excuse to be racist. I don't know a single black or latino who agrees with what's going on. If anything, most are embarrassed. But you only hear about sending "those people" back to Africa or they are all animals. I don't think we will ever have a race war but man I do think that one day we will have something very close to one. It really seems like the media is really pushing that crap hard.

1. Those committing the violence and looting are not concerned about Gray. They are just involved in the chaos.

2. A protest in and of itself is not an excuse to burn down buildings and steal anyway.

Predominatly white sporting riots are mainly confined mainly to Europe and South America and you can bet that I consider those involved to be animals.

When stupid white college students start doing this after a sporting event they are equally as primitive. Let's be honest here too but it has never gotten like this after some college game. This is on a complete different level for several reasons.

It's a complicated issue that isn't getting any better. The bottom line is thqt these are the ill side effects of a disgusting plague called slavery. I hope all of this will teach future generations to never succumb to this practice as it ends up affecting people hundred years down the line of all races.

Actually a black protestor group and city counsel man was just interviewed on faux news and he said they made a deal with the police to back off, and they would make sure no looting would take place as they stood by... and watched a liquor store get completely emptied. smh

Yeah. I get the same feeling when hearing that "civil rights leaders need to..." say or do something during riots to somehow...I don't know, stop, or refrain, or order the rioters to stop, as if they have some magic whistle or are leading the riots.

This just seems like anarchists running wild, and having their way. How does burning down a CVS, or looting a cellphone store, or mom and pop small businesses achieve any other goal than to cause anarchy?

I'm from Mississippi. It's not a racist state the way the media portrays it but it's a backwards place.

I don't know about giving excuses, so much as providing answers for root causes. And I think part of the problem is that we don't deal with the policing issues. Essentially, most of the cases are ignored and it fades away. Fades away, but not really forgotten.

You'd think those mofo's would have learned from the LA riots to not burn your own neighborhoods down but these guys just don't get it. What do old people have to do with police abuse?

I think you have to deal with the officer's going to far, the nature of repeat offender criminals, and the violent rioting. All of these behaviors should be dealt with in totality.

Usually we don't but there was the Olympics in Victoria BC where we won a lot and **** went crazy. Everyone was pissed about that all over the country.
