The headline on this article is just the beginning of the anger this story generates. 4 people were shot, but the wounded police officer is the one to get the headline. Not the one shot in the head who is in critical condition.
And it gets so much better. You have to get well, well into the article for the fact that the "armed" suspect? Well, he didn't have a gun, he had a ****ing knife. So do you know what that means? The only people with guns were the cops. And they are the ones who shot 4 people, including a fellow cop. All of this over someone jumping a turnstyle to get on the subway.
And since its the NYPD, I do not believe them when they said their tasers were broken. Awfully convenient for both to not work.
