Thats what I'm saying! That would be such a waste of a cool character and if they want to kill one off then kill Diablo or Slipknot. I'm hoping that there is a brief confrontation with Batman and Killer Croc in this. If only for a moment.

When they were filming I was worried that he doesn't look threatening enough to have fought Batman and been a challenge.

Well now I can see it. He looks like a Gotham villain and a serious threat that someone like Batman is needed to take out.

Supposedly Batman is the one who put most or all of them in Akrham.

So I wouldn't be surprised if the opening is a montage of Batman taking the entire Suicide Squad down.

I actually put Croc's survival pretty low. I can't see them making a Bat solo film where you absolutely HAD to have Croc in there.

I'm about half and half on Croc's survival; I've got Slipknot pegged for the ignoble "do these explosive implants work?" death, Diablo for the heroic sacrifice death that really pisses Croc and the others off, and Deadshot and Boomerang as the two members who are re-incarcerated for later. I don't think Croc could die anything except a tragic death; he's clearly alive late in the film and I just feel they'll try and make him a combination of terrifying monster and sympathetic anti-villain at the same time. I kind of feel like Croc is more likely to die by committing suicide by superhero on Katana's blade than to just get stomped or crushed or shot by the main villain.

I'd prefer he either slip away after the climax, or be shown to be the most heavily injured Squad member, but still kicking to be part of the supporting cast in any Gotham films or Suicide Squad appearances.

Haven't heard much since. But the rumor was that you would see King Shark amongst Waller's collection of meta humans. He would just be a cameo.
