I'm glad he's off the project too. I appreciate his work, but he's getting a bit hackish with how he treats characters. Russo Brothers will bring redemption to the saga :yay: They can make an entertaining action movie with some depth and multiple characters without making it seem like "comedy-hour"...I'm looking at your Whedon and Gunn. :whatever:

Wow this is getting ridiculous. Never though such a word would be used to describe Whedon. He's probably the biggest fanboy ever. Him havingbtge opportunity to write and direct these films must have been a dream come true for him. And for me, I welcomed him with open hands because he's just like me. He loves these characters and for the mistakes he made with the first film, he admitted them and said he wanted to improve and make a better film with AoU. People are now calling out Whedon after he gave us this:

And this:

How quickly we get spoiled. Then he essentially givea you Ultron and Vision. His decision btw, not Feiges. A lot of people here are over reacting and jumping to conclusions WITHOUT HAVING SEEN THE FILM. Lord have mercy. With some of the reaction here, you'd think Whedon is doing to the Avengers what Trank is doing to the FF. And its funny that people are now hailing the Russo's (they did a great job on TWS) but beforehand they were trashing them. Suddenly now they're being held as saviours who will save our favorite characters who have been mishandled by Whedon. Just 6 days left for me. With the way things are in this thread, I guess there's only one thing left to do...

Yeah......but why give away a stone to some henchmen to retrieve another stone? Now he lost the mind stone?

Yeah, that's weird. Also, is Thanos going to collect all the stones back on the first IW movie? Heck, it was probably Joss' idea... :whatever:

I wonder if Thanos will use the Black Order. The group will need something to fight anyway.

I wonder if Marvel had some say in Whedon not doing Avengers 3. It's a conspiracy! :oldrazz:

Honestly I expect that by the time CW and the IW movies roll around the Russos will be getting the same thing Whedon is getting now lol. People are always convinced the next writer that comes along in comics-related things is gonna be better and most of the time they're still not happy even when that rolls around (myself included). I've liked most of the movies so far, it's just a matter of how much, so I'm cautiously excited for it all but "be careful what you wish for" is definitely a thing for a reason.

YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE FILM :oldrazz:

Anyway it's funny how, people can say 'wow this sounds great' to what is DP is saying but if you say 'I don't like the sound of this' it's all 'judge it for yourself blah blah blah'

Guess what they are judging it, they are judging what they are reading the same as everyone here is doing.

Ok Barchiel is going over board but as far as I can see he is the only one.

Probably why he decides at the end movie that he needs to do his own dirty work...good help is hard to find

But does Ultron himself have a strong role in the final fight? Unlike Loki in the first film who was kind of "just there"

Yeah, well, sorry, I'm opting out on details I can't clearly remember now before people start attacking me (like on the site that shall not be named here). You'll see when you see the movie that it's impossible to behold everything after one time.

That "helmet" kind of thing on his face is not there. His final form also is pretty much seen in the trailers, there's nothing new about that. It's the form from that "Is that all you've got" scene. There isn't that much development going on with his form in general. He grabs himself some scrap from Tony in the beginning, then he escapes through the internet and takes one of Strucker's/HYDRA's robot thingies and ups himself with Vibranium consequently. It's a strong form, but as I said, the overwhelming, real thread is all the robots he controls.

Neither one is appropriate. And look back at the last few pages. It has been complaint after complaint. Exaggeration after exaggeration.

From multiple members who have made accounts this month, probably just to come here and bash the film.

So no, it's not one member.

@DarkPhoenix82 Is there any more evolution in Hulks intelligence and speech since the First film and does he have any lines or say anything?

I hear ya!

Wait so he is, in part, a HYDRA robot? Sweet!

Hulk doesn't talk in this one. Yet somehow he seems more intelligence since he interacts a little with Black Widow and in the end makes the conscious decision to kill the com and fly into the ocean.

What is the best fight between Ultron and a Avengers, Ultron vs ... ? thanks

I guess since he and the twins are working with what's left in Strucker's castle after the Avengers take out HYDRA. Ultron leaves through the internet after the fight in the tower and is next seen when he calls the twins to him for the first time, sitting on a kind of throne, with a pretty solid robot form already. Not entirely sure where he got that from.

What are we here to do if not use our opinions to discuss things?

First trailer comes out. 'Yep that's certainly a movie trailer'

If someone thinks Whedon is terrible based on what they read, we can assume they don't like what they are hearing about the film, only the same as seeing a trailer or a clip or an interview. Is it an exaggeration? Not to them, maybe they truly think he is terrible, that is an opinion and something one can tell someone else not to have.

Now there is only one guy I see continually banging on about it.

And by the way, this is nothing, I've been here for Cap 2, GoTG and TASM2, there are gonna be a bunch of people coming on here in a week or so time bashing the movie hard. It's inevitable.

Judging From everything that has come out of Tranks and the casts mouths? I don't have to see the film to know where it's headed. Head over to the FF boards if you wanna know what I'm talking about. Besides, re-read the last five pages or so. People are over reacting.

@DarkPhoenix82 Is Wakanda mentioned at all? Either on a map, picture or said in dialogue?

Hmmm... When we talk about his actual, main, talking form and not the robots, I'd say it's a draw between Wanda and in the end, the one with Vision. Mostly because Olsen kills the scene with her acting, and with Vision it's one of the only real, deep, meaningful conversations in the movie. I liked it when Clint and Nat were fighting him to retrieve Vision, too.

Yeah, that's where the fight in Africa happens. Tony mentions the name before they leave (that's actually junior novel material already), he recognizes it, since his father had been doing stuff there.

It'd have been awesome (though a bit much) if QS ran in front of the bullets and a bullet-time slo-mo effect began, with him going all out catching the bullets. He stops and smiles, but is caught off-guard and is hit...but he isn't killed. That'd show that he has some heroism, but he's still a bit brash.
No, that would have been awful. He's not the Flash.
