Yeah, you could hear genuine sadness in his voice when he said to Wanda, "Please, don't do this." Very well done I thought.

Can you please then explain *WHY* discuss them? I really don't get it

Because this is a board for discussing things....such as comic books and the movies made from them, what may or may not be in an upcoming comic book movie, what characters may or may not be in upcoming comic book movies.....

Because some of them are going to be showing up in CA: CW and then some will also likely be part of the IW films so it makes sense to at least discuss the future of that group.

My guess with the new team is they plan on having Black Panther, Captain Marvel and/or Dr. Strange join up.

It's been noted a lot that the team is less powerful and has no science experts, so I feel like they intentionally set it up to have a reason for T'Challa and Carol to join later on.
Once those 3 join the team (or at least BP and Cap Marvel), they will almost certainly be MORE powerful than the original team. Cap Marvel and Vision offer basically the same things Thor does, War Machine's got IM's power-set covered, Scarlet Witch offers a HUGE new power set, and T'Challa doubles the Cap power-set plus some. That's a ridiculously powerful team, even without a Hulk.

As for not having a science expert, they've got Vision, who basically has an advanced alien computer for a brain, so I'm sure he can handle the science/tech exposition stuff.

You've seem to have forgotten about T'Challa likely being the genius he's portrayed as in the comics so it's not exactly like they don't have a science guy on the team.

Ah yes, you're right I did forget that. And he's got the money too! So I say T'Challa and Vision combined >>> Tony and Banner. :woot:

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I like how Clint and Natasha are still very good friends and I like how they manage to work together as partners regardless of how they felt for each other in the past. Also, I like the friendship that continues to grow between Cap and Natasha since TWS. Especially the ending, where he watches her as she's looking at the wall...I like the fact that they're the ones who are going to lead and train the new Avengers team.

Woha, please don't be so fast equating both! That BP is also a peak human in the comics doesn't mean Marvel will make him as powerful as Cap in the MCU (it's quite clear they ended buffing him into low tier superhuman).
Having him as a physically weaker, equally skilled and more tech-savvy(+vibranium gadgets) guy would be ideal to avoid overlap between them.

They've made Black Panther a superhuman in the comics as well, though. Cap is my favorite Marvel character, but I see no reason T'Challa needs to be weaker than him. He's a physical match for Cap in the comics, so I see no reason to not have that be the case here.

Saw it for a second time today. I thought it'd be best to give some space between viewings. Let the dust settle, as it were.

Enjoyed it much more this time, still a lot of things that seem clipped & scattered, but overall much happier with it this time.

And for those saying the Bruce/Tasha thing came out of nowhere, does no one remember this:

This is why I think Ultron is a stronger villain than people gave him credit for. He really is just a child with extreme intelligence but no maturity who is rebelling against his father. You hear it in the "don't compare me to Stark!" line.

Nothing really felt clipped or scattered doe edited poorly to me. It all worked, I was able to make sense of it all. Very easy to follow if you just pay attention.

Not weaker, different in his strengths.

Yeah! I wasn't paying attention! That's totally what my problem is!

so, I so saw it for second time today..and I have to say it was even better than the first time....The only thing I didn't like is the unanswered questions it left behind....like...was Thanos behind Ultrons creation? (I think he was but it wasn't clearly said in film)...how was Ultron program started spontaneously?(mind gem did it?...how?)...and so on....hope they'll give us answers in future...

What do you guys think? Thor said the mind gem is behind Ultron'S creation...do you think Thanos is involved....the fact that mind stone started Ultron..doesn't make Stark sort of Ultron's father

Does anyone really expect the new team to be together for a significant amount of time? It's cool and fresh right now, but there is no doubt at all in my mind that the original team will be reassembled by Infinity War. At most I can see this team being together for Civil War and the beginning of Infinity War part 1. Iron Man will obviously be huge in CW, and Thor will undoubtedly be back after Ragnarok.

The only one who I can imagine being gone for a while is Hulk :csad: I wouldn't be surprised if the big guy is MIA until he epically returns in Infinity War Part II.

Also, I see some people talking about Hemsworth and RDJ's contracts only being for one more movie after CW and Ranarok. I thought it was worked out that Infinity War will count as 1 movie for their contracts?

I don't expect the original team to be back together 'til IW: Part 2.

Yeh they should introduce the Defenders (Luke Cage, Daredevil, Iron Fist etc.) in Civil War and then IW: Part 1 it should be the avengers with Falcon and War Machine, maybe even Ant Man and Captain Marvel and then IW: Part 2 will have All the Avengers, the defenders and every MCU hero!

Man I remember since The Avengers came out that there was a heated debate among us fans about whither Loki's Scepter was the mind gem or not...and as it turns out, it was all along. :)
