Or just cut out the news breaks. Seriously, unless the world is about to end why break into a show? For a primary? Really? Do they really think anyone about to watch the show really wanted to see that? Do they really think anyone who actually cares at all is waiting for them to update them instead of watching a news channel or the internet?

What we need is a 24 hour news channel, for people who want immediate access to news.

This was a very episode. From the beginning rescue attempt by the Secret Warriors to the end which played out like 'The Thing', this episode was full of twists and turns. Quake's display of power at the end was also pretty impressive.

I'll have to rewatch tomorrow on Hulu or On Demand.

I was hoping Lincoln was the infected one - I like Melter, Quake and Yoyo lots better - but that was an interesting surprise.

I will say that I wish that the Hive infection couldn't be cured. I feel like it should be permanent...but then, obviously you couldn't infect Daisy.

Also...one thing bums me out. In my mind, Thanos will likely have an MCU version of the Black Order in Infinity War...and I think Hive is cool enough to be a part of that (with maybe Red Skull, Loki and someone to be named later). Not that the movies would include a character from the tv shows...but it would be the ultimate thank you to the tv supporters to have Ward/Hive be a villain in Inifnity War.

They are probably going with an Adam & Eve type story with SquidWard & Daisy so Lincoln wouldn't have worked to well in that scenario unless SquidWard swings both ways.

I've really been thinking about how AoS could tie into IW. Pretty soon I will get all of my thoughts together and do a post about it, but I think it would center around doing a season 5 that leads up to IW as just short miniseries event. Including Hive as part of the Black Order is not a bad idea.
