This episode was fun! They're showing us more of the characters' personalities and their team dynamic as it develops, which is always the fun part of an ensemble show. The episode went along at a lively pace, the acting and dialog were good and the action was intense. There was a definite sense that the writer(s) knew where these characters were coming from and where they intend them to go. That made me interested to find out more.
Skye seems to be developing as I'd hoped before seeing the pilot. She's obviously still working with the "Rising Tide," and as I stated before it would be interesting to see her exposed as a puppet of the same evil forces she claims to be fighting. HYDRA dupe sounds about right. Trusting her should eventually come back to bite Coulson in the ass in a very painful way.
The Nick Fury cameo was absolutely perfect. Samuel L. Jackson makes everything better.
Overall, this episode was an improvement on the pilot. I'm looking forward to next week's episode even more eagerly now.
