Highly unlikely to see RDJ on the show as he simply is too expensive unless of course, he is willing to take a smaller check for a cameo on the show. We have a better shot of seeing Scar Jo or Jeremy Renner as Black Widow and Hawkeye appearing as cameo's.

Marvel is already paying him $50 million a movie. I think he can do a small cameo or two for them lol.

I am thinking the mysterious object is the Tessaract/Cosmic Cube from The Avengers and Thor.

How is the word photon an easter egg? That's a pretty typical science term.

Just made sense to me. I swear I heard Photon EMISSIONS. Mar-Vell would EMIT photon energy when he was wearing the nega bands. Just something that's really not heard THAT often, Then they say later it's energy is LIKE the Tesseract, yet another connection. Just seems to me there's more to Ward than they're letting on at this point with Thanos already appearing in the films.

At this point RDJ is so damn rich i cant imagine that money is even a motivator at this point. I dont see why he wouldnt volunteer for a potential 3 minute cameo that would take, what, a couple of hours to film?

To Mr Dent: No, I don't watch serial dramas. Not CSI or Law and Order or anything else. I've NEVER liked them. It took a spin-off of Avengers to get me to care. Nope, won't apologize or excuse the show for that reason.

The characters just seem ill-defined. Fitz and Simmons are basically the same character, supposedly the reluctant love interests that quip back and forth...but isn't that Skye and Ward? Ward is the butt-kicking soldier who is the best there is at what he does...except that he isn't as good as May, who is a soldier who is the best there is at what she does. Of course, May, Skye, Ward and Coulson all have mystery pasts. Also...again...three women, two of which are (at least half) asian...and everyone on the team is brunette except Coulson, who is the one guy we already relate to.

It just seems a bit like they threw a bunch of stuff at the screen and will figure it all out later.

Small detail, for sure...but it is yet another example of how the characters basically all blend into each other. It's like they had one role to cast, found several actors they liked and said "screw it, let's hire them all." Again, very small detail. Maybe I never would have noticed if there were more differences between the characters.

He posted his conversation with his guy in one of the threads (can even dig it up if ya want), and Jordan was asking him questions....and his guy said to him "do you know Captain Marvel?" randomly

Really enjoyed this episode. I mean if you like the Marvel films, I'm not sure how you don't enjoy this. The tone, the dialogue, the characters, and the action are squarely in that territory. This blends very well with the rest of the MCU. The characters need to be allowed to grow a bit, but I think there is potential in all of them.

The SLJ cameo as Fury was brilliant. I knew that Marvel would make every effort to get him an appearance early on and capitalize on his name recognition. I've said it before and I'll say it again, RDJ will have a cameo at some point in this first season, most likely toward the end of the season. His contract was just re-negotiated and I confident that Marvel included a clause for at least one appearance.
