Why would Lash leave an inhuman behind?

My wife came up with an idea on why Simmons is hell bent on going back to the other world and being secretive about why.....she had a baby there and left it behind. Has anyone else thrown this idea out there?

In the comics he only killed the ones he deemed not worthy.

Oh, and it seems like he's a shapeshifter, so he could be anyone in human form.

I think it was related to those hairs disintegrating earlier. But, yeah, he can look more human apparently. I'm assuming that's not in the comics? He's a sorely underused character, imo.

Better than last week's by far. But I loved the 2nd episode.

There was a lot more action than I expected.

I just hope Ward dies.
