Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - 3x04 - "Devils You Know" - Discussion Thread

Garner ain't human.

Werner Von Strucker was terrified for a reason and that wasn't Garner laying on the floor at the gas station.

Is Andrew Lash, because it would explain the fear in the Strucker kids eyes.

Was actually thinking of the same thing as well. Would explain why he left May for no reason around the time when the Terrigen crystals entered the water system. Also explains why he relentlessly went after them when Lincoln was in the hospital, but decides to walk away knowing full well Skye was still alive.

Tell us the truth!!

You can't handle the truth!

I guess I'd have to rewatch it and compare clothes. My immediate assumption was that Andrew had died, but I'm willing to be convinced otherwise if anyone has any actual evidence.

For those who read this later the reason I said "Tell us the truth!!" was because just as the show ended Jemma said she was going to tell Fitz the whole truth. Looks like we will all find out next week though. :yay:

I doubt it but he's clearly not all human and with them making up this Secret Warriors team he's shaping up to be the "Xavior" of the group.

Now we gotta back track for any Andrew is Lash foreshadowing.

I can't handle this season. It's going to kill me.

Like I said I might not have liked how it all ended but it certainly left a whole lot of possible scenarios open.

She killed and subsequently ate the sacred Zbornak and now must return and make restitution to the underground colony of the Slushpuppium Micronauts. If only she had realized that the entire planet's surface was in fact Blue Raspberry, she could have staved off her ravenous hunger.

Perhaps, like me, she detests it.

Therefore, the one known as Lincoln shall be crowned Zbornak II and shall roam the slushy wastelands from hence. So it is written, so it shall be.

Also, this was the best episode so far. Loved it. Suuuper intense. Hurry up next week...!

Maybe Andrew is an inhuman? Not Lash, but something else...

If he survived, it might be a plausible theory. It would explain why he disappeared when with May (he transformed into Lash) and it could help explain how he could track down Inhumans to hunt (although probably not since SHIELD doesn't know as many). Plus, he doesn't entirely trust Inhumans (although I doubt that rises to the level of killing them as portrayed so far).

How about him being listed as being in a bunch of future episodes?

Well, that's an easy misdirection. I was thinking anything from that scene?

Welcome aboard!

If it's a Jeckyll/Hyde thing going on....he might not be able to control those feelings.

I don't think Andrew is Lash. I think Lash is one of Rosalind's people. He went on ahead when Daisy and Mack insisted on going with them. How convenient for him to know which way the van was going.

Yeah, I could see Lash being Agent Banks, that makes some sense. I also agree that Andrew is not dead, there is something more to him.

Maybe the bald guy who is Rosalind's number two?

Wow, there could be three characters on this show who aren't who they appear to be....Jemma, Andrew, and Banks.

It has to be him. I wonder if Ward's phone caught or recorded the transformation?

Also... who did Jemma fall in love with on that other planet?

Why else keep it from Fitz? She must have met a fellow trapped person who taught her to survive and fell in love. Must go back to save him??

Seems odd that she wouldn't mention other trapped souls and show no urgency but that's the vibe I get.

It looked like Lash let her live because he knew her? An old friend? His shadow reduced down to a thin to average build male. Looking at past seasons nobody comes to mind, unless its that loser computer hacker boyfriend from season 1. Doubtful.
