Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - S02E12 - "Who You Really are"

It cant be Stark. Stark thinks Coulson is dead.

I wouldn't be surprised if its Ultron who is pulling the strings.

I still think it's stark but you may have something there.

Pretty cool episode. Liked seeing Sif again. Her costume was horrible though. I wouldn't mind changing her look up a little, but that certainly wasn't the way to do it. Her return to the familiar costume was appreciated.

I guess it was in keeping with Sif's character to have her react to Skye as she did. Had to laugh at May's observation at the end.

So they let the cat out of the bag on Skye earlier than most would expect. It seems like Fitz is her only confidant still. I am glad though, that they made a point of having Simmons point out she's Skye's friend and wasn't going to want her killed. For a minute there I think we all feared a massive "Thea Queen" styled mood swing.:woot: But she hasn't reached that level yet, at least.

I kinda liked seeing Fitz, Mack & Hunter working together. Unfortunately, it seems Mack has other plans.

I enjoyed seeing Bobbie in action against the Kree. I'm still hoping she'll "become" Mockingbird before too long.

My only knock was the guy playing the Kree didn't particularly feel "alien" enough. It didn't help that he dressed like a gas station attendant, but his delivery still felt too "normal".

Looking forward to Skye's dad returning.:woot:

As usual, I was unable to go through the entire episode without a distraction. That distraction OF COURSE happened right as they were explaining stuff. Something about a war and they needed soldiers or something...and they thought they killed all the Inhumans? Is the war he was referring to important?

And uh...turns out the Kree isn't such a bad guy...did they come to regret their warring ways? Is he some offshoot that has been good for awhile...because the Kree just recently stopped warring against the Nova Corps...

Ah heck, guess I just have to watch that scene again.

Another good episode. We had an Asgardian, a Kree and a possible tie-in to "Civil War".

But who is the "backup"? Like others said, it can't be Stark so any speculation?

Man, mark that down as yet another outstanding episode! The dialogue is so dense with info that it's doing a lot of efficient world-building, but not in a way that is hard to follow. For someone who is not an MCU-phile, it probably just sounds like generic sci-fi technobabble. Best of both worlds.

I love how their handling Skye, btw. Can't wait to watch this story unfold, and next week's non-Hydra villain gathering looks awesome!

What a great episode! Asguardians, Kree, Inhumans, and SHIELD...

An oblique reference to the Kree-Skrull War that caused the Kree to create genetic weapons; a direct reference to Hala; an undercover Kree using nitrogen to be disguised as a human; a box of Kree technology hidden in a cave (reminiscent of the cave where the Psyche-Magnitron was hidden)... so much goodness!

For those asking about the Inhumans being a weapon, and how the Kree or Eternals were involved:

I think the Kree experimentation to create soldiers on other worlds didn't work because unlike Earth the Celestials didn't previously invest genetic potential in them.

Heretic Well at the beginning of GOTG, the Kree had just signed a peace treaty with Xandar (home planet of the Nova Corps) which ended a millennia-old war between them. I think that that's probably what he was referring to.

Their handling Skye really well can't wait for next weeks episode.

Agreed. But I felt like the whole "someone says something bad about Skye, and it turns out that she was standing there the whole time and heard everything" scene was rather cliché.

wait so they dont have a problem with the Hulk,Thor, Lady Sif,Mike Petersen but Reina and Skye make them uncomfortable. This Civil war logic already does not make sense.

I don't remember all of those characters being welcomed with open arms when they first appeared.

So was Thor by any chanced referenced or mentioned tonight?

I'm really hoping they address the Avengers finding out Coulson is alive in AOU. Preferably, not in an offhanded line of 10 second exposition.

With Stucker being mentioned LAST WEEK I wouldn't doubt he's the one pulling the strings seeing as he will be in Age of Ultron

Actually it still works. Civil War isn't about which super you are comfortable hanging around. It's about pro- vs anti-registration. Right?

how much dark magic did the all father have to conjure up to send you here?

or Stucker

I'd find it hard to believe that Bobbi and Mack are taking orders from Hydra. In fact, Mack seemed a little disgusted when he mentioned Hyrda in this episode. They are taking orders from someone who is supposed to be a hero, maybe Maria Hill.
