The funny thing is.....in the post I responded to made by you....You DID NOT say that the majority of people did not care for regular spies...You said NOBODY cares about them. So how about you debate me on what you said and I responded to and don't change it later after I prove you are wrong.

You know what the intentions were. No way you sat there and thought that I meant literally a net of zero people .

I think the only thing safe to say is you clearly have no clue what you're talking about...

Im not gonna debate on something that is facts. Facts are..ratings have dropped and now they are in trouble regarding cancellation.

You clearly dont know what a "fact " is either... and are basically trolling at this point

Yes I did....the intentions were to troll and tick off the fans of the show.

Why not? Are you saying I'm not supposed to believe you are a man of your word...a man who says what he means....a man who doesn't want others to misconstrue his intent?

Guys , idk what you think my intentions are. As I clearly watch the show, sometimes more begrudingly than others, but I have watched every episode.

But at the same time, I have to keep it 100 and give my view on the whole situation. The thing is that view is not unique to just me, search all around and you can find similar comments.

Really it's a good thing their separated you want the Agents to stand on their own and not be "calling in the Avengers" every time there's a bad guy that needs stopping. I think one of the biggest problem AoS has is they end up being too public, this should be a spy show. Fighting in the shadows with black ops, battles the world will never know about. What's the point of having Secret Warriors if their not secret? They keep writing plots in ways that demands the movies to acknowledge it for the sake of continuity, when they shouldn't. Like the Netflix series they should focus on carving out their own corner, be their own series, and not simply an Avengers tie-in. The super spy world of the MCU.

While I'm happy she is finally being called "Quake" but the fact that she's all over newspapers shows that they're going in the same direction. And creates the same problem. If there's an enhanced who can cause earthquakes, destroying and robbing banks then "where are the Avengers". The should write their stories in a way so that quest never gets asked.

I like the show, I just wished they'd change the way they plot the story.

I agree, that's why I wish they never would've brought in so many Inhumans. This should should be about the regular agents/spies doing the things SHIELD did. It's hard for me to take someone like Hive seriously when they could've called Scarlet Witch and had her essentially rip him apart or unbrainwash people. They need to avoid scenarios like that. That's why Jessica Jones and Daredevil work. It's small time, and the Avengers don't get called for martial artists in the papers.

I think its safe to say judging from the ratings and the fact its on the chopping block, that the majority don't care about those plain ole spies.

Don't blame the genre, blame this show.

Ratings have dropped is a fact....

being in cancellation trouble is speculation....

... pardon me while i easily ignore a low-end site called "tvseriesfinale" :o

the major trades arn't including it in any shows that are in any danger...

I don't necessarily mind the number of Inhumans or the scale of the threats, but the plot should remain in the shadows. Fighting secret wars that the public aren't aware of. That doesn't effect quality as much as it would continuity. All the problems AoS has from, and causes for, the MCU would be solved if they followed that direction.

As for discussions about "regular spies", that is a good concept for a show, regular spies in a world of super heroes, aliens, cyborgs, etc. is a good concept for the show. In fact that is the concept of this show for the most part. Though you could argue is a show about super spies in a world of blah, blah, blah. And that's just semantics.

The inherit reasons the netflix series are so much better is not concept of the show but the production models. Netflix has a great model in that the number or episodes per season, the release schedule, etc can be much more flexible. They can have all the time to fine tune scripts, rework or re-shoot scenes, and make sure everything work before the season ever premieres. AoS is grounded to the network model of tv, which is 20-something episodes per season, premiering in the fall and ending in the spring to hit sweeps week. Plus with all the special effects that has to be added they can't risk adding any delays. As such if the script needs fine tuning so that the dialog is more streamline and natural, oh well we gotta move on.

I wished they would hire one guy whose and expert in dialog to do a pass over the scripts before they head out. Would improve the show greatly.

They could have easily kept the rise of inhumans as urban legends instead of getting to the point where they have POTUS involved and a task force created.

Such bad writing, if you look at it as an attempt to fit into the MCU.

they want to blame the films for that.. but that was totally their own bed they made.. the should have worked around it..

You're over your own head... clearly many are perfectly happy with the premise... and we've gotten heroes like quake and mockingbird

It's taken them forever to get anywhere near what Quake is in comics
As for Mockingbird, the actress is as hot as hell - but it's not Mockingbird -its just tall karate woman in leather :cwink:

As for "Inhumans" I think they have totally messed that concept up

I never expected Black Bolt and Medusa in a TV show, but Testicle Headed henchmen and Ward (in make up) talking slowly in a long black leather coat is not my idea of "Inhumans

They're not Inhumans precisely. They're NuHuman(or whatever that term is)

It would be cool if they brought Sharon Carter onto the show next season.

For what purpose? She barely has one in the films.

maybe so she an get one? A serialized TV shows offers more oppurtunity to expand on a character and give them more to do. With that said, she's kind of boring and Emily VanCamp isnt exactly an engaging actress with any type of screen presence. Outside of maybe an episode guest appearance, she doesnt need to join the show

That would be the reason - same as why they introduced Sif.

It's not like Sharon's doing anything between Civil War and whenever she shows up next in the movies, so why not compromise and let her show up as a regular on AoS.

I'm watching in the UK and we're currently two episodes behind. Lash just cured Daisy of Hive influence and tonight is the next episode after that.

That title's actually a reference to the story that introduced the Inhumans in the Marvel Universe:

latest

So you can expect it to be Inhuman heavy. :)
I'm really intrigued to read that comic now. I love the Fantastic Four.

Shame Jemma Simmons was never made an Inhuman. Would have been an interesting place to take her character given how much she disliked superpowered characters in season two.
Gotham might be the only show on TV that is a bigger waste of time than AOS. No Batman, smh.
I don't think either's a waste. Gotham is an engaging crime drama take on Batman villain mythology and Agents of SHIELD is proper edge-of-your-seat stuff.

It is the film's fault. They should be making more effort to acknowledge the TV series instead of making it all feel so one-sided.

Gotham may have had a rocky start, but it's good stuff now.

I agree. I think the Inhuman outbreak was a mistake.

One thing I think they would benefit from doing with Gotham is introducing some black comedy. It may stop people criticising the show being 'too silly' sometimes and 'too dark' others.
