"Lady Sif comes here on a hunting mission — sent by Odin — to find her arch-enemy Lorelei and bring her back to Asgard."
Sent by... Odin? Maybe Loki needs Lorelei back on Asgard because he's plotting something.

Question, any idea what that gold thing is on her left hip (our right as we look at her)??

Looks like some kind of tiara. Might be something that belongs to Lorelei, maybe she's using it to track her in some way. Might also be some kind of throwing weapon.

What are you up to this time Loki? Could he want Lorelei so that she could set up a meeting with her more powerful older sister perhaps?

It looks like it could be a gold garter belt that she would normally wear high up on her thigh.

She can touch Lola

Er... anyway of asking her not to use Lola as a missile weapon or her backup melee weapon... perhaps explain its an early Midgard aerial chariot?:csad:

Oh well maybe better not give her any ideas...:whatever:

Just went and looked at the "Official Images" thread on Thor:TDW forum, didn't appear to be part of her armor there so looks like it's something probably added to it for her appearance in SHIELD.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking a tiara type thing as well when I was first looking at it.

It has nothing to do with shame. That's a straw man argument if I've ever heard one. The problem is that her suit only exists to show off her body. That's not true of Thor or Cap or Iron Man. It's only function is to provide eye candy. THAT is the problem.

I don't want her bathing suit anywhere near the big screen. Have a costume that makes sense for someone who's a fighter, not a lifeguard.

If it was good enough for the comics for 70 years (and live action for a portion of that) it's good enough for the movies.

I just noticed: Deathlok's leg is a recolored Iron-Man leg, and it is powered by a ARC Reactor. Cybertek Industries copied the Iron Man Technology that Stark Industries made.

No, it isn't. Movies are in a position to correct the mistakes of the comics.

Or Marvel just reused existing Iron Man CGI technology as it was cheaper that way than recreating something new from scratch.

Most male hero costumes show off their shape. Thor has his biceps on display, Cap has tight fitting pants, what's the big deal?

Most of these heroes are in peek physical condition, and look at mma, the men and women are practically in bathing suits and fighting is exactly what they do.

Less clothes is practical and it sells tickets, deal with it.

But I'm fine with Sif warrior garb as well cause it's basically like the comics.

As for the new Richards interview... Goddammit why can't the interviewer ask something simple like if his look will evolve into something more reminiscent of his comic look!

Glad to see he grew up reading the same Deathlok as me.

People in the MMA don't use weapons. If they did, I doubt you'd see them in bathing suits.

I don't think the oversexualization of women in comics is really up for debate.

The gold object on Sif's hip has been explained in one of the articles about Lorelei's appearance a couple of weeks back.

At the end of the episode Sif puts a muzzle and shackles on Lorelei similar to the ones Thor put on Loki at the end of The Avengers. That looks like it might be the muzzle.

I hope, now that Lorelei has been cast in AOS, that she might show up in a future Thor movie, even in a cameo. At least that way it won't seem like one-way crossovers.

PCE doesn't stand for anything, at least not anything on the show. The California DMV puts PCE on license plates issued to films and television shows for vehicles that they're going to film driving on actual streets. KITT from Night Rider had PCE on it's plates.
