Depending on how TWS plays out, they could still get their intel from Fury or Hill. Fury has gone rogue and covertly helped out heroes in the comics, so they could have him do it here. He seems to be on Cap's side in TWS, at least judging by the previews. Also, they could just steal the bus.Maybe but then where would they get all their intel? Could they still even use the bus?
One thing I really appreciate about this show and the one sure fire edge it has over Arrow (not dissing Arrow) is the casting for the comic book characters. We might not get them that often, but Marvel sure as hell has some really cool, interesting casting choices. J. August Richards (Deathlok), Ian Hart (Graviton), Saffron Burrows (Victoria Hand), Dylan Minnette (Blizzard), Bill Paxton (John Garrett), Elena Satine (Lorelei). I have enjoyed every one of these performances.
I didn't say that Arrow doesn't have good casting, but Agents of SHIELD's casting (for comic characters) is a lot more interesting. I mean Saffron Burrows and Elena Satine are inspire choices for their roles. It's as if Marvel cast these roles with the intent that these are the only actors who will ever portray these characters in live action. That's how spot on it is. Now, it totally makes sense why that's the case, considering the fact that these characters are not just being cast for AoS, but the MCU as a whole. Arrow doesn't have that problem, it's clear that the actors they chose were only meant to appear on TV. As good as they are, I can't see them being the same actors DC would choose in a film, as much as I wanted Arrow to exist in DCs new movie universe.Arrow's casting has been pretty spot on, with the exception of Laurel. Slade has been freaking great so far.
The talent pool definitely seems to be better with SHIELD and even though I obviously voice my complaints more often than not the acting is tolerable, even good, and the casting as you've mentioned is usually pretty good.
I couldn't get past a few episodes with Arrow because the acting was so gag inducing, I felt like I was back in the 90s seeing one of my moms soaps unfold.
I felt it was really bad that the lead actor couldn't act. Same with that Blade t.v. series.
It's too bad, as it is now, Arrow's superior to AOS. Amell has really grown into his role. But to be honest, I didn't think his acting was any worse than the beginning of AOS.
I also don't really agree with the casting comparison either. I'd say the cast is about equal talent-wise.
Is tonight the Sif episode?
Cool. Not that I'm interested.

So, how will Jim Steranko bash this episode tonight?

It's unfair of me to be delving into casting comparisons because I've only watched the first few episodes, never really read DC stuff so I didn't bother committing myself.
For AoS it's the opposite, I've always been a 'Make Mine Marvel' guy so despite my virulent criticisms of the show I'm always secretly rooting for it and trying to let myself buy into the excuses so amply provided around here.
Truth be told it is improving, and much like people predicted, like Arrow it gets better with age.
I was talking strictly about the comic characters. And I wasn't talking talent-wise either, I was speaking more towards how much more interesting and varied the casting is in AoS.I also don't really agree with the casting comparison either. I'd say the cast is about equal talent-wise.

Uggggh
I didn't mean for this to turn in to another Marvel vs DC thing.

For the love of...
Can we save the DC vs. Marvel stuff for the Misc. Comics Film Forum?
You don't really have to "follow", it's just my opinion. If you feel differently, then that's cool. Not sure I follow really. I think everyone I've seen in Arrow has been perfect for their role, aside from Laurel. And the Huntress I suppose. She could have been better. But All the other heroes/villains they've cast in Arrow have been very interesting. Clock King was great, and Slade's been perfect. Both shows have been pretty solid on the casting front.
See my above post. Nobody's starting a flame war, we're just comparing the two shows, in a very civil manner I might add.
