They care more about pleasing the general public than the comic fans. i Imean there throw something i there from the comics to please them. Nut you can't always have a 100% storyline straight from the comics.

You know in a post in the Xmen forums a week ago I got annoyed at what I thought was constant negativity from a poster. I actually amost called a guy an idiot. In fact I just used more sophisticated terms but the sentiment was the same.

Look I may not agree with an idea but I realized that I should not get so worked up that I start insulting people and the people on the forum need to clean this up because it is fueling a lot of negativity.

This is what children do, call each other names.

We really should not be insulting anyone like this. It is just not good, decent or mature.

You know i don't really don't mind the Surfer changing between his silver and Humanoid form. I've said that from the start when it was announced that a SS movie may be done. For budgetary reasons I can see this happening and it should. I'd rather a have nicly done CGI Surfer then some guy painted Silver.

As for the Surfer having a human orgin, good god i hope not. I can see some pinhead at FOX thinking he can be a lost astronut or someone taken by a probe of galactus years ago. Jeez I hope marvel doesn't let FOX phuck up the Surfer. The only and i mean only referece or something he takes from Earth would be his name. I can see him showing up and Ben goes"what are you, some kind of Silver Surfer" or someone in the media names him. It makes a lot more sense for him to get his name from Earth, because some all powerful being like Galctus naming his hearald the Silver Surfer seems a lil hokey.

How many believe this is turning into a Ultimate FF movie franchise ? Sue is not the most powerful of the 4. She's strong in her own way, but that doesn't mean powerful. She's a supoting member, allthough an important member, as they all are. You can't have 1 without the other 3. And did I hear that DC is bringing back Batwoman as a lesbian ? If true, only from the minds of DC could that happen. Oh here it is :

Look everyone. They say sue is the strongest because her powers are the ones with the most margin for expansion. How could reed do any much more with his stretching ability than he does already? Can the thing harness the cosmos shattering awe inspiring elements of....rock? Johnny can ignite the atmosphere from day one, where is the room for improvement?

Sue is considered the most powerful as she is the only one with an untapped reservoir of potential.

First i have never heard of Alba being a egotistical cow and secondly the producers would flat out say no because:

A) Female super-hero movies tank like there is no tomorrow.

and

B) The main characters who crowds liked from the original were Johnny and the Thing. They are hardly going to take all their screentime away are they? That would be like Fox having x-men 4 but with wolverine and co kicked to the curb and a team comprising of leech, powerless rogue and siryn in the spotlight. It would be filmic suicide.

Like I said there is no evidence that Alba has asked for anything. People are just assuming that she must have demanded a huge role for her character. I personally have seen no evidence of that in these early fragments of news. In fact it was many of the fans who complained that Sue and Reed did not get enough screentime in comparison to Johnny and Ben.

Her comments are being taken completely out of context. She's simply been asked about her role in the film and gave us quite a bit more plot details than we were expecting at this stage.

Alba has never been critical of her role in FF in interviews nor -to my knowledge- has she ever been a 'diva'.
