In reading the full article at MTV, I’m a bit confused as to how the definitive LOVE-TRIANLGE discussion exploded. I don’t think her statements imply a full-blown harlequin romance, but I can certainly see some level of sexual tension between 2 alpha males over Sue. Now, I certainly don’t believe Surfer and Sue will be doing dinner and a movie, but she could definitely serve as the mediator with Surfer. I don’t quite following her statements about having all their powers, but I’ve always felt she was the most powerful…Franklin’s powers are much closer aligned to her than Reeds, and he’s got globs of power to spare

By the way, I'm on the "cautiously optimistic" side of the thread topic. Sue with Super Skrull powers is a little weird, but some interesting possibilities:

> A connection between the origin story of FF1 and Galactus - If Sue takes on the powers of the other 3, maybe the boys are de-powered, Doom as well. That may well make Doom look for power elsewhere (like maybe from that silver guy,hmmm), as well as leave the door open for slight physiological changes when the FF's powers return (cough*brow*cough)

Sue ends up powerful enough to get the Surfer's attention, and she plays the Alicia role of turning SS against Galactus. A departure, but it can work.

And suppose Reed & Sue get together while she is powered up? Might pave the way for a certain uber-powerful blond kid...

It's too early to get the pitchforks yet, so we'll just have to see what other info pops up...

Boy I hope not...it is one thing with her taking her powers to extreme limits it is a whole another thing to have her turn into Super Skrull...there is no justification, plus this is the story of a team that needs to fight together to win, not 1 hero and 3 sidekicks.

I seriously worry about the SS who should be a God like alien coming to Earth with far more power then the others.....a harbinger of the ultimate doom

Right. JA said that there will be tension between the two (Reed and SS). Why? We don't know. Because SS is the villain of the movie and Reed just happens to be protective of his team, him being the leader and all? Or because Sue brings out the good side of SS (again, see her comment for reference) and maybe, just maybe, Reed misinterprets this for some kind of extramarital activity? I doubt the situation in question is a real love triangle per se, more of a mix of misinterpreted signals. The last thing we're going to see on screen is Jessica Alba having sex with SS one second and the other with Reed.

But all of this is just pure speculation, and it was quite brilliant for JA to say what she said, we're just doing what they want. They're hyping it up. And yes, the article mentioned something about a love triangle, but not anything about who's the third party. So all this speculation of SS being some hornball could very well be totally inaccurate. Maybe Sue's new "love interest" (I'm still not buying the article without a few thousand grains of salt) is Mole Man for all we know. They're just playing with us, because they want us to see the movie. And that's that, really.

How? because the writers of the script have written the script that way? Since when did she become script writer?
