Alba's new comments....

Guys aren't you worried that F4-2 is NOT in the top 10 previews on comingsoon.net while Ghost Rider and Transformers are.

Transformers has been there for the last 6 weeks.

Ghost Rider for 2 weeks.

This kinda shows people don't have any interest in F4-2.

But i am NOT giving up hope. Hopefully when the TEASER trailer is launched it will make it into the TOP 5 previews on comingsoon.net and several other sites.

I think guys we will get to see a TEASER for F4-2 sometime in December. FOX will most probably attach the TEASER with eragon.

And then a second trailer with Ghost Rider and then finally the last trailer with Spider-man 3.

Hell FOX let sony attach teaser of ghost rider on X3 (a highly anticipated movie) so sony better let FOX attach a trailer with spider-man 3 (also a highly anticipated movie).

Is it not possible she becomes the most powerful when Malice is released as opposed to as regular Sue ?

Thats the thing it was Malice using her mind, and using the powers Sue already possessed....Malice is always there in all of us...Sue knew from that point on just how powerful she was....it was also during that time that she changed from "invisible girl" to "invisible woman"......alot changed for her....

If the writers of the comics say that Sue is the most powerful....we DID NOT SAY strongest there is a difference than I say that she is......hell we don't write these comics.....if Stan Lee the freakin creator said it, then that pretty much says it for me.....

In a recent MK issue she went off on a guy that was abusing his wife....I mean totally went off on him, she was calm which I think scared her even more.....afterwards she physically gets sick because it upset her so much....she is the most powerful, it is only her desire to be the peacemaker that overpowers her desire to kick ass.....BUT when her family is in danger, watch....hell I could post dozens upon dozens of examples where she totally kicks superskrulls ass, slams Doom a few times....why is it so hard to understand that with the particular abilities she has she is the most powerful if they are used to their fullest extent....

I could be wrong, but it was Malice along with Psycho man using her mind that set Sue off, not necessarily that Malice made her any stronger physically, she just used to its full potential what Sue can actually do......

I don't see a problem with showing something that is definitely from the comics....as far as getting EVERYONE'S POWERS not real sure if I like that aspect.....she did have Johnny's "flame on" and flying ability for a few issues.....it gave her really good insight into just what Johnny goes through mentally with people that he is close too......

But as far as using her powers, and kicking some ass with them....see no problem with that....her using them to their fullest extent here and there, see no problem with that.....

Love triangle with SS, don't like that.....but I'm not sure thats exactly it...I know some have interpreted her comments in that way, but thats a wait and see for me.....as is the gaining everyone's powers....I'll just have to wait and see how that comes across before I wig out.....

damn, theres alot of drama queens around here......chill out....enjoy....:)

Love triangle? Didn't Sue just get engaged?

Come on..........

As far as the above post, FF2 will be WAY more anticipated than Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider has flop written all over it, especially with it's February release date.

I don't know I'm not a fan of it at all, know absolutely nothing about it....but it looks very interesting, and I really like Nicholas Cage.....yes the February release date may be a problem.....but I think it may do better than you think.....:)

Don't get me wrong - I'll be there opening weekend. I like Cage as well and I see EVERY comic book film anyway, so we'll see what happens. I guess I can see it do moderate business, probably between V for Vendetta and DD.

But I could be wrong....:)

That's the point. STAN LEE DIDN'T SAY IT. John Byrne did. It's a revamp. And the point you made about Malice having her use her full powers- Again- my second point. If any of the FF truly went bad and decided to use their full powers, they'd be just as destructive. So there's no need to place Sue or any of the other in front of the team as most powerful. The Malice story could still have been told without that silly little addendum.

And as far as her kicking ass- of course she should. She's superhuman. Why do you people keep saying it has to be either-or? A woman can be powerful, assertive, effective without having to be BETTER than her male counterparts. Got it?

I see, well maybe something relating to SS will bring out her full power without using Malice *Puts away Jess in leather costume idea*:O
not sure how she gets their powers though, sounds like Rogue

i can't wait for ain't it cool news's review of ff2 script.

though they will probably bash the script.

Yea. Harry tends to be myopic where FF is concerned.

I watched Fantastic Four again last night on DVD and the lack of epic-ness in the final battle notwithstanding...it was good to see the four members using their individual abilities as a TEAM to take down Doom. All four actors had a great rapport with each other and my favorite parts were the bickering and looks they would give each other throughout the movie. One scene I liked in particular, occurs when we first see the blue uniforms. Sue is wearing it looking really good but all that Reed notices is that the suit contains unstable molecules and some special poly-fibers or some such...the look she gives Reed is priceless!
As for the Malice angle in this or any subsequent FF movies, I kind of find that unlikely. In the comics her character started out not being that strong and needing to be "rescued" alot, as time went on and she grew more adept in her powers she still had those same insecurities. It was in part these insecurites that were amplified and manipulated by the Psycho Man to make her into Malice. The end of that experience showed her growth and newfound self awareness with her changing her name from "Invisible Girl" to 'Invisible Woman". It seems in the movie though that she is pretty powerful to begin with, hardly a damsel in distress. If anything her only insecurities seem to be in getting through to Reed, a feat she may have achieved by the end of the first film. She frowned when Johnny first named her "The invisible Girl" when he was being interviewed after the bike show preferring the more mature "Woman". Thats just my opinion on this, if they do somehow come up with a way to make her bad, it will be interesting to see but I seriously doubt it will happen

What exactly are you quantifying here with generic terms like that? Reed is a better scientist than Sue because, well she's not a scientist. If I wanted someone to contain a multi megton explosion (without prep time) in the Latverian village in FF#87, than Sue would be better for that job than Reed.

So would I..... So does that mean that she's more powerful than Reed? Or that her particular power is better suited to the situation? Who would be better to squeeze into the multi-megaton bomb and disarm it from inside? Does that mean that Reed is more powerful? or better suited for the job? Who while this is going on is best suited to slug it out with an army of Doombots to give them time to do this? Does that mean Ben is the most powerful? Or best suited for the job? Who best to destroy a barrage of missiles raining down on the village? Does that make the torch the most powerful? Getting my drift here?

She was a scientist in the movie, wasn't she?

And A bad one at that. Hope they get rid of that scientist routine. They botched it in the 1st movie. Time to drop it.

I would rather they wrote it more substantially, you can't have her suddenly not be a scientist, there would be no intelligent reason for doing so

Just put it in the story, that she's dropping it to devote herself more to the team. Simple solution. And if, as it seams, Sue will have a bigger roll in the sequel, even easier.

her scientific skills would be used along side Reeds,

They tried that and looked what happened. They try to fix it, and may mess it up more.

they are a team who uses Science as a defense and to solve problems you think it makes sense for a character who is supposed to be a smart scientists to not use her skills ?

The key word there is suppose to be. They flubbed it, they can't fix it so drop it, or make it believable this time around, and I mean more then dark rimmed glasses. That was a joke. They knew they blew it, and tried to make her look smarter. LOL.

Not if she's unconvincing enough to get laughs from the audience.

That was what i was getting at

Ok Dragon,i know how you feel about Jessica as Sue:)

Obviously not just me.

I was happy with everyone's performances, only the writing let me down, and the editing in other areas.
